It was dark and he could barely breathe. Something was covering his eyes and mouth. He could just barely see the thin line of an overhead light.

It was all strange. One moment him and Kale were inspecting the notes when he passed out. Colby couldn't explain it.

He was sitting in a chair, tied. His hands and feet bound together and to the chair. Where was he? And where was Kale?!

His heart rate increased. It's been weeks. He only got a meal once a day. Barely any water and... He would always get burned by someone. No one told him what was happened.. He didn't even know.

Sam...

His mind wandered to Sam. Where was he? Was he kidnapped as well? Is he safe? What if he was worrying about him.

Tears welled in his eyes. Colby struggled to loosen the grip of the rope. If he struggled enough, maybe he could get his skinny hands out of the tied rope.

But it was no use.. He was stuck..

Tears rolled down his cheeks.

I will get out, Sam..

Kale sat in a darken room, only a small light that was faced to a book shone. His green gaze read over the words printed there. Colby was in another room, tied and blinded.

"It was too easy to kidnap him," he murmured aloud to no one it seemed. "And I owe that to you."

Something moved in the darkness, glistening of spikes on the figure's gloves glistened as they approached.

"I'm here for you." Said the figure. Coming into full view was Solaris, Kale's cousin.

"It was too easy almost how you got to be his friend.." He murmured, "He's so gullible."

She smiled evilly, "That's what I'm here for. Manipulative they call me. I scared everyone at school by threatening them to not say a word to Sam or else."

"How did you get the message out to them but manage to miss Sam?"

"I know how to hack into people's phone and social media. It's easier than you think, Kale."

"I'm so glad you're my cousin, Solaris. I couldn't have done this without you. You put every plan into place."

Solaris chuckled. "What are you gonna do now? It's been weeks of you being absent. The teachers have been asking me where you've been. I've always told them, vacation, but they're starting catch on."

"Whenever I can trust you to do what I do to Colby." He shut the book, placing it on the metal desk. "Not saying I don't trust you, I'm saying that like... Yknow?"

She chuckled,  "Yes I understand.."

"I almost feel like a yandere," Kale admitted. "I kidnapped Sam's boyfriend and locked him away. Both of them are so confused. And yet.. I feel nothing. Like I'm an empty carcass.. Yknow?"

"Yes. I know what you mean."

Kale looked off, his mouth closed in a firm line.

Not a God's blessing, but a God's curse.. he thought, remembering what a book once said.

But a God's curse...
