Part 12- No!

JUNGKOOK'S POV~

"Of course! Only her could've done it." i said to myself. I already knew where to find her and Ji-eun.

"Oh Naeri, i can read you like a book." i laughed to myself. How stupid of Naeri to think that i wouldn't find her. After sometime, i reported this to the police. After all the talking, we settled everything.

AFTER AN HOUR~

We - me, Suji, Dr. Kim, and the police went to the place where Naeri took Ji-eun. How did i know that their here? Simple, this is the only place where Naeri goes to, excepting her house. It's an abandoned apartment. It looks old and it's very dirty. Naeri didn't tell me why she likes going here. She just said that she finds peace and she feels happy everytime she's here.

"Are you sure this is the place?" Suji asked me. I can tell that she's very worried so i tried to reassure her by grabbing her shoulder and telling her...

"Yes, I'm very sure. Don't worry, we'll find them and Ji-eun's going to be okay. I know Naeri, she wouldn't kill someone." i said to her with a soft and calming voice. She replied with a small but sincere smile. After that talk with Suji, we heard a gun shot. Suji screamed, obviously terrified and worried for Ji-eun. It warms my heart to see that she really cares for my girlfriend even though they haven't  been friends for a long time.

"Jungkook, you said she's going to be okay! If she comes out of here hurt, i will absolutely inject you every needle i can find! Well, it's actually your fault why she's even here. It's because you flirted with that Naeri girl! Now she's crazy for you!" Dr. Kim had to come to my rescue because Suji kept hitting and scolding me. Dear Lord, help me. Girls are crazy.

"Suji, that's enough! We have to work together as a team. You can continue your scolding later." the doctor said  to Suji and somehow calmed down. Thank goodness.

"I'm sorry. It's just that i'm really worried for- JI-EUN!!!" she screamed the last part. I turned around and my eyes widened in an instant. I saw Naeri wrapping her arm at Ji-eun's neck, which is chocking her. Naeri's free hand is holding a gun, pointing directly at Ji-eun's head. Ji-eun seems to be unconscious. This. Is. A. Nightmare.

"Ji-eun!" i exclaimed. The police quickly responded by pointing their guns toward Naeri.

"Miss, i would have to ask you to put your weapon down and let go of Ms. Lee. We have you surrounded, and your out numbered. Give up or we'll take this to the hard way." an officer shouted to Naeri, but all he got in return was Naeri's evil chuckle.

"You think i'll fall for that? Sorry, but i already fall for Jungkook." she said crazily. My eyes widened and she looked at me, directly in the eye.

"Well, what do you have to say Mr. Heart breaker?" she asked me. Anger got the best of me at this point.

"We're over, Naeri!" i shouted at her but she just laughed at me. My blood started to boil just because of this girl.

"Naeri, i swear to god, if you don't let her go-" i warned but Naeri laughed again which cut me off of my sentence.

"I'll let your pretty little girlfriend go in one condition." i can see that she's playing with me.

"What is it?" i asked her.

"Marry me, and i'll let you all out of here alive." she said with a sick grin. I looked at Ji-eun and was very (jung) shooked. She winked at me. Oh~ this girl.

"Fine. In one condition," i said as i kept looking at Naeri then back at Ji-eun.

"Whatever it is." Naeri said still grinning like a crazy brat.

"Let go of Ji-eun first." i said with a smirk. I saw Ji-eun smirked too. Naeri didn't even notice that Ji-eun is not unconscious anymore. Naeri thought it over before deciding.

"Fine." she pushed Ji-eun over to me. I immediately wrapped my arms into Ji-eun. I saw her teary eyes. I was thankful she doesn't have any bruises.

"Tsk tsk. Stupid Jungkook, just like his girlfriend." Naeri said while smirking. She then pointed the gun towards me and Ji-eun. I immediately followed my instincts and covered Ji-eun with my body to protect her from being shot by Naeri. I heard a gun shot, I was ready to feel the pain, closing my eyes. But i opened them again as soon as i heard Dr. Kim's shout.

"No!" he shouted and quickly ran towards an unconscious Suji. She was shot on her stomach. Blood soaking her white tee. I took time to process everything. Suji save us. I saw Naeri's eyes widened when she realized that she shot the wrong person.

"Oh my-" she was cut off by an officer tying a handcuff on her wrists. She stared at us for awhile before she starts wiggling in attempts of getting her way out of the officer's grip but she obviously failed.

"Suji, no!" Ji-eun exclaimed as she got off of me and ran towards Suji. I did the same as well.

"Someone call 911!" Dr. Kim commanded as he picked Suji from the ground in bridal style. I took out my phone and dialed the number.

"Hello...." i started.

JI-EUN'S POV~

"Suji, wake up. Please!" i said while holding her hands, hoping that she will still live. The officers are doing their job. I didn't really payed attention to them. I saw them forcing Naeri to walk towards the car but the officer were stopped once Naeri spoke to me.

"You'll never get away with this. Jungkook is mine. I will be back! Mark my words Ji-eun!" she said angrily.

"I'll be looking forward to that." i replied and the officers continued to push Naeri towards the police car once i finished my sentence.

"The ambulance will be here in a minute." Jungkook said to us and we all nodded to him as a reply. Jungkook suddenly held my hand.

"Are you okay? Did she hurt you in anyway? I swear i'll-" seeing him worried for me somehow puts a smile on my face.

"Why are you smiling!? Can't see that i'm being serious right now." he questioned.

"Jungkook, i'm fine. Thank you, by the way. For trying to save my life. But Suji did that instead." i joked.

"Ji-eun?" i herd Suji's voice. I immediately turned to her. She's still in Dr. Kim's protective arms.

"Suji, are you okay!? Ugh, why did you have to do that! You could've been killed-" Suji cut me off.

"Ji-eun, i'm fine. Thanks for worrying though." she smiled warmly at us which reassured me and made me calm at little bit.

"Wait, why am i being carried by you?" Suji asked Dr. Kim. The latter simply laughed and we all joined him.

"Wow. Can you guys still believe it?" Jungkook asked.

"Life is full of surprises. Really. I never expected that i'd be one of these kinds of chaos." i laughed.

AFTER FEW MINUTES~

The ambulance arrived. Suji was already placed inside the ambulance, so do we - me, Jungkook, and Dr. Kim. The police said that they will take care of Naeri and the cases she have caused. Turns out, she will be in prison for 30 years. I kinda feel sorry for her, but at the same time i think she deserves it. After some time, we arrived at the hospital. Suji was placed on a hospital bed and was dragged to the emergency room. The three of us patiently waited by sitting on the chairs outside Suji's room.

I'm so happy that everything's good now. I hope this continues.

Waaahhh~ FYI, i don't know why i put "30 years" i don't know how the law works but anyways 😂 thank you guys so so so much for reading and supporting my book. SPOILER ALERT!!!
