Chapter ~ 3

~~~Ashley's POV~~~

 it feels good to finally have a home where i don’t have to watch every word i say and get beaten every day.

Jaime is currently giving me a tour of the house and let me tell you he’s doing a great job (note the sarcasm) but at least he’s making me laugh.

"this is my room where i frickle frackle with my girlfriend whom you will meet in a few days." he points to the first door on the right of the hallway.

"this one is Tony’s room where nothing happens.. its just awkward silence the whole time." i laughed. Tony is pretty awkward but he’s a cute awkward. just like turtles.

"this one across from mine is mikes and you don’t want to be in Vic’s room when his girlfriend Alysha is over. wow are they loud!"

"and then finally this one, the master bedroom, is vic's room." Vic’s room is pretty nice it has a big king bed that is made neatly (unlike Jaime’s) with an attached bathroom and his desk is covered in papers which I’m guessing are new songs he’s working on and his CD’s are nice and neatly placed on a shelf hanging on the wall.

he then walks me down to the basement.

"and this is where your staying if you would like." its a nice sized room with a queen bed in the corner with a black and red comforter with black sheets and red pillows and then there is a huge TV and desk in the corner of the room along with a walk in closet.

"how did you know that black and red are my favorite colors? have you been stalking me Jaime?" i jokingly question.

"maaayybbbeeeee." he smirks and i laugh

"I’m kidding Hime. thank you so much for the tour and room. i think I’m going to unpack tomorrow i have been walking all day and I’m tired."

"ok well goodnight and your welcome i will talk to you in the morning." he kisses my forehead and laughs then leaves and turns out the light.

i sigh and climb into bed. luckily i was wearing yoga pants and a tank top. i snuggled into my bed and oh my god was it comfortable! i fell asleep almost instantly.

~~~Ash's dream~~~

I have been running for hours now but they were still coming. i was starting to loose my breath so i quickly found a park and hid underneath the playground. i heard footsteps above me about 30 seconds later. i held my breath.

"Ashley where are you? you cant hid forever! i will find you and bring you home!" he yelled.

he finally gave up and i let out my breathe when he left. or at least that’s what i thought. an arm pulled me out from under the playground and i felt a sharp pain in my thigh. i let out a blood curdling shriek.

~~~Vic's POV~~~

i was just about asleep when i heard a shriek coming from downstairs that sounded like ashley. i quickly ran downstairs and pushed jaime out of the way and nearly fell down the stairs. i ran over to her and noticed that she was still asleep.

"ashley! wake up!" i yelled. shit she’s not waking up.

"ashley! you need to wake up!" i kept yelling for another 2 minutes and all the sudden she starts shaking like crazy.

"Vic! stop she’s having a seizure! you need to let it happen!" tony pulls me away and she soon enough stops shaking and shoots up breathing heavily.

"what happened?" i asked.

she looked over at me and nearly jumped out of bed. i tried to reach for her but she flinched away. was she scared of me?

"what’s wrong ash?" i asked carefully.

"b-b-bad d-dream." she whispered and had a single tear roll down her cheek. i quickly wiped it away and she looked at me.

"you guys can go back to bed if you want I’ll stay down here with her." i said and they all nodded and went back to sleep.

"ash you know you can tell me anything and i promise i wont tell anybody." i said and sat right next to her in bed. she nodded and looked down and fumbled with her hands.

"can you tell me what happened?" i asked her and she didn’t answer until about a minute later.

"my parents and ex boyfriend Shawn were after me. a-and sh-shawn found m-me and s-stabed my leg." she was full on sobbing now. and all i could do was hold her and try and calm her down.

"ash I’m so sorry. when your with me I promise i will always protect you. same with the guys. your part of the pierce the veil family now and we all protect each other even if it means one of us gets hurt we will always protect each other and we will always protect you." she nodded.

"thank you guys for bringing me here and letting me stay. i really appreciate it. and what your doing now. my parents never did that to me. only m-my brother." she sniffled after she said that. did something happen to him?

"do you mind telling me what happened to you before you got kicked out?" i asked but she didn’t answer for awhile so i looked at her and it turns out she fell asleep. i kissed her head and laid down in bed with her and pulled the blankets over us and fell asleep.
