'I couldn't forgive him so easily. He really hurt my feelings. But I wasn't exactly innocent in all this. I was still hugging Sal as tightly as I could, but I felt him shaking. Sal only shakes when crying if he's afraid of losing someone or something. I felt awful to break the news to him'

"Sal.." I began. "It's really hard for me to forgive you. The thing is.." I began.
"I regret calling you all those things. I didn't mean a single word!!" He said to me.
"But you didn't trust me enough to believe me after I told you" I said to him. He looked down to the ground, knowing I was right. I held onto his hands which were freezing. Sal slowly began shivering.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"I just want you back" he pleaded. I hugged him again to warm him up a bit, after all I still loved him, but it was too hard to forgive him right now.
"I think we are better apart" I whispered in his ear. Sal pulled away from the hug and looked up into my eyes.
"But I love you.." he said to me.
"And I love you too. It's just I need some time" I told him. He nodded in acceptance then got up and walked off. He didn't seem to be in a state on his own so I quickly caught up with him.
"Sal wait" I said. He turned around with a hopeful look. He probably expected me to say I wanted him back, but it was far from it.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Let me walk you home. I don't want you on your own" I said.
"Why not? I thought we are done!?" He said. I could understand what he was thinking.
"But I still love you" I said.
"Just not enough" Sal said as he walked off.

One Month Later!!
Sal's POV

I haven't gotten out of bed in weeks. I haven't seen anyone in a long long time. Joe tried to ring, but I didn't answer. Murr came round, I didn't answer, Q text, but I didn't answer. The only person I wanted was Carly.
I haven't eaten properly in a while either. Nothing felt right without her.

Murr, Q and Joe were all on set of impractical jokers.
"Is Sal not turning up for this challenge either? We don't have a single episode with him in!" Q said to the guys.
"I know, we have all tried to see him though. And I had to explain to his sister when she picked up the kids what's happening" Joe said.
"He only wants to see Carly" Murr said. "Maybe... we could get her to visit him!" Murr suggested.
"I don't know...." Q said.
"Actually that might work" Joe said.
"Well it's worth a shot!" Murr said.

Murr quickly rang Jen and told her about the plan.

Carly's POV
I was sat on Jen's sofa with her laptop in my lap.
"What ya doing?" Jen asked me.
"I've put my bakery up for sale" I told her.
"WHAT WHY?" She shouted.
"I haven't been there in over a month and I'm planning on moving away. Maybe sort things out with my parents in the U.K.  I'm not sure yet, but I have to get out of New York!" I told her.
"Look, this probably isn't the time but Sal is falling apart. He hasn't shown up for filming or meetings or live shows. He has shut himself in his house and hasn't spoken to anyone. We are all worried and I'm sure you are to!" Jen said to me.
"No offence, but I'm the reason he's like that. It's a stupid idea for me to go over there" I replied.
"Actually, he's told the guys he only wants to see you" Jen said to me.

I thought about it for a while. I am the reason he is like this now, so maybe I owe it to him to see if he's okay. With that, I got a pair of leggings and his hoodie which was a big baggy on me and walked over to his place. I was really nervous about seeing him again. We haven't exactly ended things well. But the weirdest part was... I dint see him as an ex. I still think of him as my boyfriend.

I knocked on the door and there was no answer. I kept knocking what felt like a thousand times before he shouted.
"Who is it?" He asked.
"It's... Carly" I answered. Almost immediately after, the door swung open to reveal a tired, upset looking Sal. He did look as bad as I felt.
"Hello" I said to break the silence with an awkward laugh. He actually smiled back which I wasn't expecting.
"Can I come in?" I asked. He looked behind him in his house then hesitated to answer.
"Not right now" he replied.
"Why not?" I asked.
"It's a mess" he answered.
"So? I'm here to see you, not for a house inspection!" I replied, barging my way in. It didn't even look like he's been downstairs.
My first goal was to get him to eat. Jen said he hasn't eaten in ages so I wanted to make him eat something.
"I'm starving!" I said to trick him to get food.
"I don't know if I have any food!" Sal replied.
"Well let's get ya some!" I replied.
