"That wasn't supposed to happen"

"what the hell was supposed to happen?!" Valkyrie screamed after Bruce's body hit the bridge. The large wolf took a moment to sniff Bruce before deeming him irrelevant and stepping over him.

As the wolf was about lunge out the Asgardians something grabbed its tail "Oh there he is there was a delay he's fine now" (y/n) painted to the Hulk tossing the wolf while Valkyrie just gapped like a fish at the scene. (y/n) watched as Hulk and the wolf fought and fell into the waters below.

"we have to help- LOKI" (y/n) screamed once she saw the god stepping off a spaceship and into the crowd of grateful Asgardians. Without really thinking (y/n) accidentally stepped off the ship.

"WHY THE HELL DOES EVERYONE KEEP JUMPING OFF?!"

"hold out your arms"

"what"

"hold your arms out" Heimdall demanded of Loki and pulled his arms out

"what are you do-" in mid-sentence something or better yet someone fell into his arms. Loki looked down in shock to find (y/n) clinging to him " I fell" she whispered into the crook of his neck.

"are you alright?" Loki whispered as he rubbed her back ignoring the battle around him. She was the only one important right now only her safety.

"I'm okay. I've fallen further than that before" she remembered clinging to Bucky as he jumped from building to building escaping every and anyone looking for her.

"Alright, okay, that's good. I need you to get on the ship" As if falling off a ship wasn't enough (y/n) felt like Loki just dropped her another 12ft. "no" (y/n) pushed herself out of Loki's arms and on to the ground he caught her arms as she began to walk away " I want to help. I can help"

"(y/n)..." Loki turned to Heimdall silently asking 'in the future... was she okay?' he gave a nod. Loki sighed why was he even thinking about this, by the Odinsons.

"Stay behind me"
