(7) Living together?

Jonah's POV

I ran home crying after I saw Cyrus's dad pull him in. I turned back and saw Cyrus crying with bruises. I couldn't save him because his dad would kill me.

I got home and cried for hours in my room. I texted Andi and Buffy to tell them the story. Andi said she was crying as well, and Buffy... let's just say she was preparing herself. I texted Cyrus asking if he was okay. He didn't reply and it's been 6 hours.

Cyrus's POV

I sat in my bed sobbing quietly so my dad couldn't hear me. He would beat me again if he did. I picked my phone up and saw 100 messages from Jonah, 67 messages from Buffy and 66 messages from Andi! My vision was blurred with tears but I could make out Jonah's message saying we have a guest room. I had to get out.

I opened my window and climbed out of it, slid my jacked on and ran to Jonah's house. I then had the idea he didn't want me there so I started crying and walked away. But just then Jonah shouted my name and ran as fast as he could towards me. He grabbed me and pulled me into a huge hug. I cried on his shoulder. "Hey, you can live with us for as long as you need." I had nowhere else to go so I just accepted it.

He led me into the guest room and helped me sort my stuff out. His mom came in and hugged me tightly saying "We are happy to have you here for as long as you want." "Thank you so much Mrs Beck!" I blurted out.

That night I was having a nightmare. My dad was beating people me. Blood everywhere. I woke up breathing heavily and quickly. Jonah must of heard me because he rushed in and hugged me. "Do you want to sleep with me?" He asked comforting me. "Do you mind?" I asked back cautiously.

"Of course not!" He said dragging me to his room. We laid side by side, my face in his chest. He was so cute when he slept.

We were woken up abruptly at about 6:03 by Jonah's mom. She probably heard me last night so she didn't really think anything of me and Jonah sleeping together. She doesn't even know he's bi. "Oh morning Cyrus." She said. "You guys I just got called out for a business trip for the week so I have to leave you guys. Are you two gonna be okay?" She asked grabbing her stuff. "Yes mom!" Jonah said lifting his head from his pillow. She rushed out into her car and drove off.

Jonah pulled me in and kissed me softly. "Well just a week of you and me!" He said winking. We giggled and went downstairs to get breakfast. Why do I love him so much and still feel like I can't have him even if I do? He made pancakes so I was even happier! We ate them all and then I looked at him and said, "Umm Jonah can we skip school, I don't feel up to it today." He stared straight at me. "You? Wanting to skip school? Wish Cyrus has a bad side!" He said chuckling to himself.

I kissed him and went back upstairs to get dressed.

Jonah's POV

Cyrus went upstairs to get changed while I did the washing up. I still can't believe he wanted to skip school. He loves the place!
