Cyrus's POV
I woke up this morning to a pleasant surprise, breakfast in bed from my future husband <3
Today is the first day back to school and I was not looking forward to it. Whenever me and Jonah were together around school, people smirked and laughed and pointed and it freaks me out. I usually don't really care what people think but being as big as this is, I'm frightened. Jonah could read me like a book and kissed me lightly on the lips. "It's gonna be okay cy I promise," he said smiling happily. I was scared but he was right, nothing to worry about.
Jonah's mom walked in telling us she was going to work and winked at us. I wonder if she knows I'm dating her son? Hopefully she'd be fine with it. She seems very nice.
We walked to school holding hands, I was feeling confident. We got a few strange looks but nothing I would care about. Jonah looked as confident as ever.
Jonah's POV
"You're worthless!" I looked around but no one was there, I told Cyrus that everything would be ok but the truth is, I'm frightened. People have been texting me ever since me and Cyrus started dating calling us horrible things and threatening us. I was scared. Very scared. But I tried my best to look confident while walking to school with my favourite boy in the whole world. We got a couple of strange looks on the way so nothing terrible. For now.
Andi's POV
Me and Buffy were just hanging out by the lockers waiting for the cute couple. I felt about telling her. She was my best friend but telling her I'm pregnant could scare her off or something. Finally Jonah and Cyrus walked into school holding hands. "Hey guys!" Me and Buffy said in unison. Jonah looked really sweaty and it wasn't even the start of summer yet. "Jonah are you okay?" He turned to me and tried to smile, "Yeah of course I am, why?" He swiped his hair back.
"You just look really sweaty and it's not even summer yet." I said laughing.
"Well I was with this cutie making me feel hot haha." He said swiping sweat off his forehead and kissing Cyrus on the cheek. Cyrus squeezed his hand and smiled. The bell rung so we said goodbye and left for classes.
Jonah's POV
"Okay Jonah you've got this, it's just first lesson." I said to myself and made my way to science. I didn't have anyone in my class that I was friends with so I was worried. I went into class and kept my head down getting on with my equations. One of my old friends Kip who I hated now shoved me off my chair, "sorry gay boy didn't see you there!" He laughed and jumped into his seat 2 rows back from me. My eyes started to cloud up but I couldn't be sad. I'm proud of who I am and no one will make me feel different.
It was after first period and I was getting my maths books out of my locker. Buffy was in my class so I felt safe knowing I had her. I was the last in the corridor so I was going to be a bit late. I speed walked towards my lesson but was confronted by my enemy, Kip. "Hey gay boy what are you doing out here?"
"Go away Kip I'm proud of who I am and I don't care what you think now leave me alone." I said scrunching my eyebrows. I love Cyrus with all my heart so nobody was gonna get to me.
But as I started to feel proud Kip walked up to me and got right in my face. He punched me clean in the face and knocked me down to the ground. The pain was unbearable at this point and I just wanted to find Cyrus. Just when I thought it was over he spat at my face and kicked me in the face. Everything went black.
Buffy's POV
I was so exited for maths, not because of the work but I had Jonah in my class. So he could tell me what him and his prince had been up to. It was around 15 minutes into the lesson and he wasn't there. I started to get worried until I heard his voice. "Go away I'm proud of who I am." I couldn't make it out but all of a sudden I heard a thud so I legged it out into the corridor.
Cyrus's POV
I had maths with Andi so it wasn't too bad. All of a sudden I heard something hit the floor outside and saw Buffy leg it outside so I nudged Andi and we ran out following her. We made it to the corridor to see Jonah, my boyfriend get spat on and kicked in the face. I screamed for Jonah and ran towards him. The boy who kicked him started to run away. Buffy was red in the face and went full throttle racing after the boy. I clutched onto Jonah burying his head into my arms stroking his face. Andi called the ambulance to pick him up and Buffy came back after 2 minutes with Jonah's old friend Kip in her tight grip. He had a black eye and was bleeding as Buffy threw him on the floor. I smiled at her and the ambulance came.
Wow that was a long chapter! 1000 words. I'm happy I came back to this story and I have some new ideas and stories I want to add to this!
