Jonah's POV
I wanted this day to show Cyrus how much he means to me. I spent hours before Cyrus woke up planning the day and I finally had it.
(TIME SKIP)
"Okay babe today is gonna be our day of romance!" I said grinning at him. He looked at me and said "day of what?" He looked confused. He was still half asleep so he didn't really understand anything i said. After a few moments he hit his head with his palm and said "ooohhh day of romance!" "Yes!!"
We got ready and went to the water park first. It was Valentine's Day so everything was covered in hearts and love. We kissed and spent the day on the slides and in the pool. "You didn't have to do this Jonah!" Cyrus whispered as he and I were at the top of the tallest slide. "That's not it yet! We've still got dinner to go" I replied. He was about to say something but our boat got blasted out into the outside as we plummeted the slide. When we got off Cyrus was about to be sick but I LOVED IT!!! He calmed down after 10 minuets and then went to go swim in the pool.
It was about 6:00 in the afternoon so we got changed and walked for about 10 minuets. We arrived at one of the most fancy restaurants in Utah. It was decked out with candles and red lights and hearts. Cyrus hugged me before we walked in and said he was so lucky to have me.
Cyrus's POV
I can't believe Jonah brought me to the most fanciest restaurants in Utah. We waited at the entrance to be escorted to our seats. "Mr Beck for the table of two please." Jonah said as our waitress greeted us. She took us to a table covered in valentines items. We sat opposite each other gazing into each other's eyes. (Cough) "can I get you two a drink" the waitress asked. "Two cokes please?" Jonah replied. "Of course I hope you enjoy your meal tonight." She smiled and walked off.
"We have one more stop after our meal Cyrus!" Jonah said smiling at me. I smiled back as the waitress came back giving us our drinks. "Are you ready to order sir?" She asked. "Yes What is the special for today?" We asked. "The Love Lasagne" she replied. I nodded at Jonah and he asked for two of them.
We are our meal and the total was $90. I offered to pay and I insured to so Jonah didn't have to.
We held hands and Jonah took me to the edge of a cliff. We sat there as the sun set and Jonah pulled me closer. We made out and cuddled while the sun was lowering. Just as it was going down the horizon Jonah got a little box. He gave it to me and when I opened it there was a ring.
"Cyrus I love you more than I have ever loved anyone. You brighten my darkest days when I feel lost and you are a human sunbeam. I wanted to repay you for all you have done for me so I want you to have this. By wearing this ring you promise to be honest and kind in our relationship." I slipped it on my finger and starting tearing up. I hugged him almost too tightly and said "I love you too, I promise to be honest and kind." We laid down stargazing for half an hour before heading home.
When we got in a threw Jonah onto his bed and kissed him passionately. "Happy Valentine's Day" I whispered between kisses. We messed around together in bed for a bit and then fell asleep naked next to each other.
Jonah's phone:
Mom: Jonah, why is there a bill for $150 on my card for a romantic restaurant???!
