Elton and I spent most of the week filling sam in on what we were doing on the trip and he was super excited. Then Elton started to talk about the fan base I had built in the last three months and I got all embarrassed.
"Did you ever tell your fans what happened between us?" Sam asked a little nervously. I shook my head no.
"To them I'm a virgin who's never dated a single person in my life. I just had an "emo faze"" then I remembered something. "Crap you and I are going to have to be really careful on camera...cause my fans don't know I'm gay either" I saw him process what I had said before he nodded.
"Alright....that's good to know" he said with a light smile.
"It'll kinda be like school, without the dark asshole vibe" I said with a smirk and sam laughed.
"We don't need a fake knife?" He teased and Corey looked at me concerned as I laughed.
"No, though I think Hannah would be proud of it anyway." Sam laughed again and sighed as he sat down on the bed with a smile.
"Those were fun days."
"Yea they were" I sat next to him and pulled him close to me with a sigh. Corey laughed looking at the two of us with a smile.
"You two are crazy, your perfect for each other." We laughed and Sam nuzzled my chest with a sigh. New Zealand was definitely going to be more fun with Sam by my side.

Sam and I were sitting on the plane, in first class seats because Elton is that extra, as I posted my first ever picture with Sam as I smirked.

Instantly my phone exploded with likes and comments as everyone was wondering about Sam. Then I saw one that gave me a mini heart attack but she saved it.
Hannah.brock: So that's where sam went!! The two of you look so cute together! So glad your friendship could be connected again!
Sam saw the comment and laughed lightly then looked at his following and his eyes widened.
"Holy crap, I think half of your followers just started following me." I looked at him curiously and laughed when I saw his follower count had sky rocketing to over 4 thousand followers.
"My fans have a habit of stalking people that I hang out with. And I did say you were my best friend so they probably feel like they can get more about me out of your account." I watched him smile and start to edit things on his account and I saw he was editing captions on his Instagram. "What are you-?"
"Keeping your secret. Only changing a few words, your fans might try to use it still to say we are a thing but there's no proof now." I smiled and blushed realizing he never deleted the posts of the two of us before I had left. He kept them up and never changed what they had said until now. He looked over at me and must have read my mind as he laughed. "Of course I did, I still loved you and those memories mean everything to me." I blushed hard and kissed him quickly with a smile. He kissed me back and laughed before ruffling my hair with a smirk. My phone continued to buzz as everyone was reposting stuff from Sams page and commenting on my photo about how cute we were and some assumed we were dating because of the way we "looked at each other" which in a way was true. And thus began the controversial ship #solby. Sam was scrolling through all of the comments, chuckling at some of them before looking at me.
"Does this happen to you all the time?"
"Yea, Believe it or not. Though it gets really annoying sometimes considering the only person I could think about was you." I watched as Sam blushed intensely and looked away with the biggest smile on his face. Then a few seconds later I heard small gasps and whispers followed by Elton's quite laugh. He pulled his seat down and looked at us with a wicked grin.
"We've got company." I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"I would say I'm surprised but I would be lying" luckily by the time the girls had walked over Sams blush had gone away. They were wearing eltons send it merch and they were talking to Elton at the moment. Sam and I smirked and ducked down a bit looking at our phones, seeing if they would notice me. After a few minutes of talking to Elton the girls looked over in our direction, Elton must have said something, but to both of our surprise they didn't see me first.
"Wait...are you sam? Sam Golbach?" One of the girls said as she walked toward us. Sam looked up at her with a bright smile and chuckled.
"Hi girls" he said lightly as he waved. They giggled and said hi back then the second one noticed me and giggled pointing me out to her first friend. I looked up and smiled at the two of them and waved.
"Hey there." We ended up talking until the flight took off and we also took pictures as the girls continued to giggle. Then of course they started asking about Solby and Sam laughed lightly shaking his head.
"Colby's been my best friend for a long time, but nothing more than that. Though I've heard he's be a pretty cool boyfriend we just don't see each other that way" the girls nodded and smiled.
"It's true he would be a pretty cool boyfriend. Any girl that got him would be really lucky...or guy honestly" the first girl said and her friend agreed. Then they said their goodbyes and went back to their seats. Sam looked at me with a smirk and was about to say something but I crashed my lips against his again with a sigh. When I pulled away he blinked and smiled, looking at me confused.
"What was that for?"
"For your comment earlier, and protecting my secret" he smiled wider and quickly kissed my cheek.
