Chapter 35

Colby's POV

Elton has taken the time to teach me what I needed to know about caring for Sam while Corey cuddled with Sam on the couch.

"So you know the basics of how to take care of him but, if you do decide to take on the role of being his daddy, you not only have to understand everything about both of his sides but you have to be ready to make rules and punish him for breaking them." I nodded as I listened to Elton and smiled when I hear Sam giggle from the other room. "So, sam is a sensitive little boy so you can't tell at him, not unless it's absolutely necessary. The rules have to be reasonable and so do the punishments, and not all punishments can or have to be sexual. This isn't just some kink to him, it's his way of living, of how he decides to cope with his stress or anxiety or whatever it is he's fighting and you have to respect that you understand?"

"Absolutely, he deserves love and care and protection no matter what" Elton smiled and nodded as he handed me a piece of paper.

"These are some of the rules I had been working on for Sam, so go over them and add what you feel is needed" I thanked him and tucked the paper in my back pocket before I walked into the living room. Sam looked at me and squeaked before jumping off of Corey's lap and running over to me, wrapping his arms around be. I smiled and picked him up.

"Hey baby boy." I said softly with a smile. He giggled and curled into my chest with a smile.

"Hi hi" he mumbled through his paci as he giggled.

"Do you want to do something fun today?" He looked up at me with bright eyes and nodded happily. I smiled and ruffled his hair. "What if we went to the boardwalk in Venice, after lunch?" He clapped and nodded as he giggled and Elton smiled.

"That's a great idea."

"Alright then that's what we'll do today." Sam smiled and pointed to the stairs and I smiled carrying him up the stairs and then sitting him on our bed.

"So what do you want to wear today my prince" he blushed softly then pointed to a pastel shirt and jeans. I grabbed them and smiled as I put them on him before I started to fix his hair and he giggled.

"There, Now that's what a pretty prince looks like." He giggled and blushed as he wrapped his arms around my neck and I smiled, picking him up. He buried his face into the side of my neck with a sigh and I carried him downstairs.

"Everyone ready to go?" I asked when I reached the bottom of the stairs and they all nodded. We got in the car and I drove us all to the boardwalk. When we got there sam was a little nervous because of judgement due to his behavior but I simply smiled and said.

"No one is gonna hurt my baby I promise." This made him smile and nod as I pulled him out of the car and held his hand once he was on the ground. We walked onto the boardwalk and I watched his eyes light up which caused me to only smile wider. He looked like a little kid in a candy shop and I couldn't be more happy that all of his worries had slipped away. We walked around a bit before Sam was tugging on my arm and pointing to a bell booth, you know the ones with a massive hammer, and he was looking at this massive fluffy bear that was sitting there. He looked at me with pleading eyes.

"I want dada I want." I smiled and knelt down in front of him.

"Do you want me to try and win it for you little one?" He nodded excitedly and I chuckled. "Alright let's go." All four of us walked over there and Elton paid $15 so that Corey, him and I could each have a shot. Corey went first, and he only got the ball halfway up the tower, which unfortunately was only good enough for a medium sized animal. Corey got a panda for Devyn. Then Elton went and he got so so close, but wasn't quite strong enough, so he got a decently large fluffy bunny for Amanda, but we all knew Circa would claim it. Then finally it was my turn, and sam was looking a little doubtful, which only gave me more strength to win the bear for him. I picked up the mallet and spun it in my hands a few times before I looked over at sam and winked at him, causing him to giggle. I then pulled the mallet over my head and slammed it as hard as I could on the platform and it just barely hit the top with a ding. I sighed and smiled as sam clapped and squealed. Thank god, I thought as I picked the bear, quickly turning and handing it to him. He hugged it tightly then hugged me with a sigh.

"Tank you baby" I laughed softly and hugged him close to me

"Of course Sammy, but aren't you the baby?" I whispered causing him to giggle and blush. I then picked him up and held him against my hip as I looked back at Elton and Corey.

"Whose ready for food?"

Sams POV

We were standing in line for food and I was really really hungry, which was making me really cranky. I hugged softly and turned looking for any way to get food now. I couldn't find any though and I whined softly. Colby turned, looking at me with soft eyes.

" You just have to be patient little boy, then you get food in your tummy" I nodded but that didn't make me any less cranky since the line was so so long. As I was standing there holding a massive bear to my chest I heard someone call out to me softly. I turned and saw a sweet looking girl with black hair and a bag on her shoulder. She motioned for me to come to her and she let her bag slide open a tiny bit, revealing candy. My eyes lit up and I knew she looked a little familiar which meant she had to be safe right? I ducked out of line and ran toward her with a smile. She handed me a lollipop then held her hand out to me.

"I have plenty more if you want but you'll have to come with me." I nodded excitedly as I put the lollipop in my mouth as I took her hand, still holding onto my bear. She smiled and we walked down the boardwalk and to the parking lot. She must own a candy truck and is nicely sharing some with me I thought until I saw her start to lead me to a van and I froze. She looked at me with dark eyes and scooped me up in her arms, making me drop my bear as I tried to cry out or scream or struggle, but I was starting to feel sleepy. My big space was kicking in and I realized she must have put something in or on the lollipop so that I couldn't fight her, so that I wouldn't be able to do any thing really.

"Don't worry Sammy your safe now I promise. I won't let that idiot hurt you again." Was all I heard before she put me in the back of her van and closed the door.

Colby's POV

We were almost to the front of the line so I turned to ask Sam what he wanted but he was gone. I looked at the spot confused then looked at Corey and Elton.

"Have you seen Sam"

"Yea he's right..." Elton started before he realized sam was gone. "Where did he go?"

"Try calling him" Corey suggested and I did but I could hear his phone ringing faintly when I did. I stepped out of line and started to walk toward the sound until I got maybe twenty feet down the boardwalk. His phone was sitting there on the ground, which was odd since he hated not having his phone on him. I knelt down and picked it up as I started looking around.

"Sam?" I called out as I walked down the boardwalk. "Sam baby where are you?" Corey and Elton were calling out and we walked down the boardwalk, toward the entrance. When we got there I could feel my heart stop when I saw Sams bear laying on the ground. I ran toward it and picked it up, and when I looked out into the parking lot I saw a van start to pull out, one being driven by Katrina Stuart.

"NO!" I cried as I started to run toward it but Elton grabbed my shoulder.

"You know you won't be able to run after that van. We'll get him back I promise but wasting our energy will not help with that."  I could barely hear him as a angered roaring was filling my ears as I watched Kat drive away with my baby.

Hi guys! I'm sorry this is a day late but I made it a little longer so I hope that makes up for it. Do you think Colby will be able to find them? And what did Kat mean when she said that she wouldn't let them hurt sam anymore. Also I have no hate against Katrina it just made the lost sense for the situation. Thanks for reading guys! Peace!
