Sorry for not updating for a while, but neither of us can think of anything else to write! I have a new person on our team, and their name is Writer's Block(That was a joke if you don't get it). I am trying but it's REALLY HARD. This chapter will probably be awful, but constructive criticism is welcome! Thanks for reading the story! OH!! I almost forgot!! I thought the picture above is funny, so... I hope you think its funny to!
Sophie POV:
I was enjoying some necessary mallowmelt in the dining room of Havenfield when my imparter buzzed. The name said 'THAT BOY!!!'. I really needed to talk to Grady about messing with my stuff. I answered and Keefe's face popped up on the screen.
"Hey Foster, just wondering if you want to go to Atlantis with me and the crew, Kamryn included. We're going to show her around. And it's no fun without you!"
"Hmmm, let me think, studying for Elementalism, or going to Atlantis with my best friends. I don't know Keefe, Three Simple Steps To Bottling Lightning is a really good read!"
"Meet at the entrance at three, or we're leaving without you!"
"Bye, Keefe."I groaned as I rolled my eyes.
"You know you love me, Foster, you're just not ready to admit it!" And with that, he ended the call. She really wanted to study but, she didn't have very good of a tour when she first arrive so...
Fine. I give in. You win, Keefe. I flopped on my bed. I better get ready.
Kamryn's POV
Atlantis. The name rings a bell. But not much. I could probably get an apartment there... That's a problem for another time. I really don't want to be adopted. I am already second person who was unauthorized in the lost cities and third orphan. I slipped on a tunic and pants. I'm ready to go to Atlantis, wherever that is
Sophie's POV
I got there a few minutes early. Not to be rude, but I wanted to hear Kamryn's reaction to the whirlpool. They should be- My thought was caught off with a loud screech. I smiled. Just on time. She landed on the sponge and it took her a second for her to realize that she stopped falling. She stood up. Suddenly a CALM Fitz crashed on top of her. She remembered when that ALMOST happened to her. She could barely stifle her laugh as Keefe crashed onto of all three of them. Talk about traffic jam. I watch them race off the sponge as Biana plumed down onto the sponge. So followed by Tam and Linh.
They were going to a concert hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Song, Tam barely agreed to go. They were all listening to calming music when Kamryn stiffened. She started to look stressed as she scanned the crowd. Keefe looked at her, too. If Sophie could tell she was stressed, so would he. She started breathing heavily. Fitz leaned his head down as if he was going to whisper "Are you okay?" but she shouted,
"EVERYONE GET DOWN!!!!"
Everyone crouched low as she made a force field around them. She looked panicked as nothing happened. People stretched there legs. Sophie was wondering what was happening when IT happened.
An explosion went off by the stage rattling the force field. More went of around the crowd. Pieces of buildings flew down and would of crushed them if it weren't for the force field. Her concentration was slipping, but Fitz gave her a boost. That was barely enough. Right when the last bomb went off she faint-passed out. Fitz had to catch her before she hit her head. Sophie felt a pang of jealously as he cradled her in his arms. But she got distracted when a piece of the bomb fluttered to her feet. She picked it up.
It had the ghostly white eye on it.
