Kamryn POV
The knife was pushing a bit deeper into Keefe's neck wound and more blood spilled out. Biana and Sophie stopped. Linh let the wave she was calling explode, and Tam stopped calling shadows. We all froze and stare at Keefe. His neck was a small pool of blood and his ice blue eyes were glassy.
Fitz and I exchange a look of horror.
"Let him go," I said looking at them. The Pyrokinetic looked at me and smiled.
"Exchange a life for life," Alvar snarled as I narrowed my eyes.
"Then-" I started to say as a flash of light appeared and the Collective, Grady, and Alden appeared. Dex's mom Juline/Squall lifted her hand and frost came out. The Pyrokinetic easily stopped the ice. Grady narrowed his eyes and he mesmerized Alvar to drop his knife, then stepping away from Keefe. A flash of light appeared as Ruy linked arms with the Pyrokinetic and Alvar and then they light leaped away, but not after The Pyrokinetic tossed the Everblaze at Shores of Solace. Keefe collapsed to the floor.
Grady looked around, "Where are your body guards?" He asked as the Ro and Sandor bursted out to the Shores shouting threats and questions.
"Oh... we locked Ro and Sandor in Shores of Solace." Sophie said as she raced towards Keefe with Ro at her side. The everblaze was still there but, the Council was coming to put it out.
Alden walked over to Keefe, "Are you okay, Keefe?" He asked as he kneeled beside him. Keefe looked up and nodded.
"Never liked that house any way." Keefe choked out.
