Chapter 21

Hi. I came up with this next GAME-CHANGING chapter for Sunrise. It is REALLY game changing. Ask all my friends. Well... just take my word for it.

Sophie POV

I focused on anger and worry, unleashing inflicting towards the three figures. A bright white flash incircle the the figures. A force field- Ruy. Crud. If only Kamryn or Tam where here.

"Don't worry Sophie. We brought Ruy just for you," the Pyrokinetic said.

The Pyrokinetic walked forward and Ruy made the force field disappeared as the Pyrokinetic threw everblaze at their feet and Ruy made another force field before Sophie can inflict them. Please Dex, come on! Sophie pleaded.

Biana POV

We raced to go to our leap master and flipped it to Shores of Solace. We quickly appeared at Shores of Solace.

"KEEFE! SOPHIE!" Linh shouted, I shoved her. Shhh, I said and put my finger to my mouth.

"The Neverseen might hear us." I whispered. Linh nodded, Kamryn looked over at us and beckoned us forward.

"Look." she whispered as she pointed around the corner of the Shores of Solace. We raced towards her and saw Sophie and Keefe trying to fight two people with big black cloaks. Fitz started to run but Tam and Dex pulled him back but Fitz tried to fight them still.

"I must help Sophie! I am her Cognate." Fitz said heroically as if he hadn't said it a million times before.

"Yeah, Ya." Biana said.

"We must have a plan before we attack." Dex interrupted, Tam nodded in agreement. Kamryn looked up.

"I have a plan," She said.

Sophie POV

I felt pain scorched threw me as the everblaze landed right in front of me. I yet out a screech of pain and stumbled away from the flames with Keefe at my side.

"Are you okay?" Keefe asked, his eyes filled with concern and worry. I nodded and watched the Pyrokinetic smirked, laughing as I tried to conceal my pain.

"The flames hurt you, didn't they," the Pyrokinetic laughed. The Pyrokinetic stroke the flames as if it was a pet. I took a step forward, away from the flames and I drop Keefe's hand.

"Shut up!" I shouted... I started to say something else when Keefe yelp. I turned and saw ALVAR appear, grabbing Keefe. There was a knife under Keefe's chin. I braced myself to inflict Alvar.

"Not so fast, Sophie. If I feel a drop of your inflicting I will slice his head off." Alvar snarled, I froze.

"What do you want," I asked. My heart quickening as Ruy smirked

"We just want to see some memories." Alvar said. I frowned and stared at him.

"Memories? Who's?" Keefe rasped.

"Quiet you." Alvar snapped and poked Keefe's neck with his knife. A drop of blood appeared as Ruy stood up.

"Kamr-" Ruy started to say when Fitz, Dex, and Linh raced from the sideline.

"Sophie! Keefe!" Linh said and her eyes widened. Fitz stared at Alvar and Keefe like he couldn't believe what was happening. Tam's voice filled my mind.

Sophie, stall them. I am trying to get into their force field.

Okay, I transmitted back. "Let go of Keefe." I shouted.

"In trade for your friend..." Ruy said. I turned to look over at Fitz, Dex, and Linh. Their expressions where are wild as mine.

"Who," Dex asked.

"Kamr-" Ruy started to say, AGAIN, as Ruy's force field vanished and the Pyrokinetic shouted for the flames to rise higher. I unleash my fury and inflicted pain on them. Though, Alvar, was strong and stayed holding onto to Keefe. Kamryn and Tam raced to us, Biana appeared and tried to tackled the Pyrokinetic but the Pyrokinetic commanded the flames to protect him.

"STOP!" Alvar shouted, "Or he dies."
