(very overdue)Chapter 38

Kamryn POV

I woke up suddenly, Biana still passed out on my shoulder. I gently laid her on her bed before crossing her room to her mirror. My normally straight red hair was knotted everywhere, and my eyes were red and puffy. I let out a deep sigh before going to the door of Biana's room. She deserves some rest. I gently closed the door and walked to my room, only to realize it was 3 am.

Sophie POV
"Dex, we have to do something about Kamryn and Biana. I mean, Kamryn did leave us for the neverseen, but I feel like she felt like she had to because of her heritage." I told him. Dex was sitting on the edge of my bed rubbing Iggy's tummy while I paced back and forth in front of him stroking Chula's velvet fur.
"That actually makes a lot of sense for why she would leave." Dex replied.
"It took me to long to think of that." I replied flopping onto my bed, a head ache starting to pound at my temple.
"Sophie, how much sleep are you getting?" Dex asked, and if on cue, Iggy started to do his leaf blower snoring.
"Not enough." I replied, rolling onto my back.

"Reaching out telepathically isn't working, maybe you and Fitz should go Cognate RAWR," Dex suggested. "Tam could can search through the shadows or even Linh can look through the water molecules to try to find them..."

"That isn't actually a bad idea, Dex." I said struggling to sit upright. He smiled, dimples flashing, but that quickly faded.

"We should all get some rest first and then meet up in the morning." He said. 

"But Biana and Kamryn-" 

"Are very strong, independent, and capable of surviving the night. They would want us to rest for the night and then. Okay?" Dex said. 

"Okay." I said, too tired to put up a fight. Chula laid down near my head. When Dex left he turned off the lights, and I didn't even need to reach out to Silveny to help me fall asleep. Even Iggy's leafblow snoring didn't bother me. I just was surrounded by a comfortable darkness as all my thoughts slipped away and I plunged into a restful sleep. 

Biana POV

I reached up my arms up to sky and stretched yawning. I looked around and realized I wasn't in my room. I then remember that I was in the Neverseen hide out, where ever that actually was in the world. 

"Kamryn?" I asked and there was no response. "Kamryn?" I said a little bit louder and more panic-y.

The door opened and Kamryn walked in holding a sack of unidentifiable objects. 

"What?" Kamryn smiled. "Breakfast."

I sighed in relief that they didn't take her or something. "What's in the bag?"

"Breakfast." She said again. Oh. She pulled out some apples, pears, and some lushberry juice.

"Not exactly the best, but it's what I could find," She told me, taking a sip of her lushberry juice. "You should see how much Fizzleberry Wine they have." 

We giggled a little at that, but suddenly there was a pounding on our door. 

"It's time to start training!" We looked at each other in confusion. 

Kamryn had to put up force field after force field, with Ruy giving her tips and instructions. It looked difficult. I, on the other hand, was going through various vanisher exercises. I didn't know until today that the Neverseen had two vanishers... Alvar... and Blinky. Isn't Blinky a name of one of the human game Pac-Man ghosts???

I'm glad that Blinky was instructing me instead of Alvar. It would've been to... awkward.

Out of the blue, water droplets started to form around me while I was vanishing. They surround me. The one by my ear suddenly whispered:

Biana?

It was Linh's voice.

"Linh?" I whispered.

Yes! It's working guys!

"Linh! Are you guys okay!" I asked.

We should be asking you that, She responded. Is Kamryn with you?

"Yes."

Okay good. We got really worried when reaching out to her didn't work... it was probably a force field thing.

"Yeah." I said glancing at Kamryn, who was sweating. Ruy really was pushing her.

Now to the important stuff- where are you guys?

"I don't know. We're underground, but we have a fake sky above."

Weird... but Fitz and Sophie are going Cognate -RAWR right now, so as long as I can keep your mind busy for a minute they should be able to track your location.

"Okay..." I looked a Blinky who was still chatting it up with Umber. It almost looked like they were flirting...

We're almost there! The others wanted me to tell you to stay strong. We will find you guys no matter what! We love you guys! Fitz, don't lie, you also love Kamryn. Now focus on finding them!

I laughed. Sounds like Fitz is still the same.

Chula and Iggy miss you- Oh! We finished! You're in-

Blinky tapped my shoulder and I spun around, all the water droplets disappearing.

"This doesn't look like your vanishing exercises." Blinky growled. I gulped.

Hello wonderful Keeper fans... I think everyone has read this fanfic agrees that I was extremely late for this update. Around 3 years. I remember sneaking my old computer into my room and putting up the updates every single night, copying then from the lame journal I was using.
