Tam's POV

Linh and I were walking up to the front gate of Everglen, as Fitz had invited everyone to spend the night. I looked up towards the window in which Linh had said was Biana's room. I looked up and saw a pair of teal eyes but it then vanished. Biana, her name stung my heart. She seem so sad all the time.

Linh pulled me towards the house and Fitz greeted us. "Everyone but Keefe and Sophie are here." He said as walked us to the big living room. The way he said that made him look like a big ogre. I frowned at Fitz, but then where were Sophie and Keefe?

Keefe POV

I looked down at my feet. My long ago promise to Fitz was ringing my ears. I called Fitz on my imparter and he answered, surprisingly. "What do you want, Keefe?"

"I want to apologize. And I will tell you exactly what happened... So I went to Sophie's house, and I snuck up on her, and we kind of just stared at each other and we kind of started moving closer. And she just kind of kissed me!"

"You can't 'Kind of' kiss somebody, Keefe."

"Sorry, it was just kind of overwhelming."

"Again with the 'Kind of'!" Fitz shouted.

Awkward...I thought.

"Well it's Foster's fault! Gotta go!..." I said. I have a date with her, so why not?

"KEEFE!!!!!!!" Fitz shouted as I turned of the imparter. I proceeded to light leap to Shores Of Solace.

I walked forward and saw Sophie waiting for me.

"Hey Foster." I said and winked at her.

"Keefe!" She screamed and smacked me, then pulled me into a kiss. "I just got a call from Fitz. We're all invited to spend the night...I should talk to Biana there." I nodded.

"Yay...cuddle time," I said, smirking. Sophie glared at me.

"Whatever," Sophie said. "We should go, we don't want to be late." I smirked and draped my arm around her. Sophie kissed my cheek and pulled her pathfinder out.

BOOM!

Sophie's home crystal exploded out of her hands with flames. I stared down in shock. What just happen?

"Nooo..." I heard Sophie whisper. I looked up and saw two figures in big long black cloaks with a familiar ghostly white eye symbol.

It was the Neverseen.

Sophie POV

The Neverseen was right in front of her.

Why were they here?

How did they know we were here?

I looked down at my finger and saw Dex's panic switch on my finger. Today it might just save our lives. I pressed the button, pleading for Dex to get the message. I looked up at the three figures in black. The middle figure lifted his hand and show the sphere of the everblaze. He was a Pyrokinetic. 

No...I thought as Keefe squeezed my hand. Brant was dead and Fintan was in prison, Fintan could not have escape. Then who was this?

Dex POV

I was lying on my sleeping bag as the others and we were waiting for Sophie and Keefe to get here.

"Why Keefe and Sophie taking so long!" I heard Linh mumble to Biana who was sitting quietly, next to Linh on her sleeping bag shrugged her shoulders.

"Who knows." she whispered. A loud beeping noise echo through the air just as the words left her lips. I look down at my panic switch. My eyes widened.

"Their in trouble."

"At the Shores of Solace." Fitz growled.
