Worrying is always hurting once to much, either everthing goes well after all and it was for no reason or what expected really happens and you end up suffering twice.
-Unknown.
The hunters returned from their hunt, a very triumph looking Scarlett up front, a boar along with some smaller animals, slung over her shoulder. "Come on guys, don't be so down just because you didn't catch something bigger." She pouted mockingly, earning a few glares from them.
"Careful there, you're echo is growing." One of them retorted. Scarlett just grinned and shot him a wink before laying down the animals she caught. She turned to look around for Bellamy, but she hadn't need to as he was already by her side again.
"I'm gonna see how Raven's doing, you've got this, right?" Bellamy nodded in understanding and told her would be fine. She saluted everyone a goodbye and made her way to the drop ship, Raven just appearing outside of it. "Hey, everything okay?"
"Yeah, just... Finn hasn't returned and neither has Clarke." Raven told her but waved it off, "They'll be fine. On the other hand, now that you're here, I need you and Bellamy to come with me."
That's how Scarlett found herself accompanied by Bellamy once again after she informed him of their needed presence. "I still don't get why we both need to be there." Scarlett whined as they set foot into the drop ship where Monty and Raven where waiting for them.
"If you'll stop whining and listen then you will." Raven pointed out and gave Monty a single nod to explain what was going on.
"Okay, so I found something at the crash sight, a data log--" Monty started but was soon stopped by Bellamy.
"Where is it?" He questioned, noticing that Monty had nothing to show him.
"I told him to pull the drive-in speakers, the thing is worthless now. Besides, I needed to make those radios." Raven pointed out and gestured for Monty to continue.
"Anyway, I wanted to figure out what happened and while I was doing my research, I found out something weird. At first we thought it was just interference but the longer we listened, it sounded like a whole different thing. Someone jammed their signal. When the signal hit, their nav system went nuts. They never got it back and then... well, you know what happened after." He finished.
Scarlett looked at him with a from, "That makes no sense at all. Who would be jamming that system?" She asked but no one had an answer.
"Why did I need to be here?" Bellamy spoke up after they switched some thoughtful glances.
"One, because you needed to know this and two, I wanted to ask you if Finn was back." Raven sighed.
"He was not with the group when we arrived, but I wouldn't worry too much now." Bellamy told her, earning him a pained nod from the brunette, not looking all too happy with his answer. With that said he turned around and walked away, leaving the three to ponder on their thoughts.
Scarlett stayed put, discussing whatever it could be that had jammed the signal of the Exodus ship but nothing came up. Time ticked by as well, Finn and Clarke still hadn't returned and the blonde felt herself getting worried, scenarios playing in her head.
"I need some air." She mumbled and stormed out of the drop ship, happily accepting the fresh oxygen. As her breathing steadied, she slowly made her way over to Bellamy's tent. She wasn't sure what she was going to do, but she knew he was what she needed at that moment. "Bell?"
He turned around and frowned when he saw the worried look edged into Scarlett's face. "Hey, something wrong?" He asked her, stepping in front of her.
