Go where you feel most alive.

-Unknown.

The next day Scarlett was marching her way to Octavia's tent. She hadn't spoken to her since the torture of the Grounders and she missed her friend. "O., you in there?" She asked when she arrived.

"Yeah, I'm here." Came the muffled reply and she pushed the tentflap aside, "Something wrong?" The brunette's eyebrow was raised as she noticed Scarlett standing in front of her.

"Technically not but I just thought I'd come and talk." Scarlett told her, fumbling with her fingers. Octavia looked at her for a few seconds, let out a sigh and stepped aside for her to come in.

"If it's about Lincoln, than I understand, sort of." Octavia started as the blonde stepped inside.

Scarlett raised her brown when she said that name and then it dawned upon her. "He talked, didn't he?" Octavia nodded. "And he told you his name?" She nodded again. "And you set him off into the wild?"

Octavia hesitated before nodding again, "But don't tell Bellamy, I told him I didn't have anything to do with it. Don't tell anyone for that matter." She hurriedly added, causing Scarlett to chuckle softly.

"I won't, I think I've done enough. Besides, I think he knows you lied, he told me about it." Scarlett grinned and sat down on the ground.

"Talking about my brother and you, do you have something to tell me?" Octavia her eyes shone with mischief, all the previous mistakes and wrongly chosen decisions forgotten.

"He told you, didn't he? I had no choice, Octavia." Scarlett her eyes widened, completely misunderstanding what the brunette had actually meant.

Octavia chuckled, "Clarke told me, actually. Thank you, for saving him." She sounded thankful and Scarlett sighed in relief. "But, that's not what I meant. You and Bellamy... you two have grown close to each other and I was wondering if something was going on between the two of you."

"Oh." Then Scarlett's eyes widened once again, "Oh! Don't tell me he told you." She groaned and leaned her head against the foundation of the tent.

"So something did happen?" Octavia looked like a giddy school girl as she sat down next to Scarlett.

"Yes, something happened! I can't believe--" Her eyes shot to Octavia and then realized that he hadn't told his sister anything, "-- he didn't tell you anything, did he?" Octavia shook her head and the blonde cringed. "Bellamy was out of it thanks due those nuts, I had to do something because he was probably going to kill himself if I hadn't done what I did."

"What did you do?" Octavia urged on, making Scarlett let out a giggle, something that rarely happened. And she had to admit, it felt nice to just sit down and talk about something every teenage girl should be able to talk about on their age instead of fighting of Grounders.

"I kissed him to distract him from his hallucination. It was the only thing I could think of and I had to act fast." She admitted, flushing a little. Octavia let out a tiny squeal of delight. "Please don't. Like I said, I had to act fast."

Octavia scoffed, "I think that you're talking complete bullshit right now. You kissed him because you like him." She stated.

"I-" Scarlett wanted to protest, she really did, but she couldn't. "I care about him." She settled with, nor denying or confirming anything.

"You really do, don't you?" Octavia said, a gentle smile on her face as she looked at her best friend. Scarlett nodded and bit her lip. "Good. He needs someone besides me. Don't give up on him, okay?"
