Painted Wings (A Fallacy x Encre book)

Chapter 11

Encre's PoV:

     Massa kept walking till he was right infront of us. I was shaking. I was terrified. I glance over at Suave who also looked scared. I looked up Massa who was grinning. He then did something that I least expected.

Fallacy's PoV:

    I watched as my brother bows to Encre. He lifts up only his head and speaks. "It's a pleasure to meet you Encre.  I am Massacre, but you can call me Massa." He held out his hand for a handshake. Encre hesitantly shakes his hand. Massa chuckles. But the others, ecept Expiry, looked angry. Massa noticed this and turned around to them with an evil grin. "If any of you hurt this mortal I will rip out all of your teeth and tear off your wings" he says.  They all nod in fear. "Good" he turns back to us. "Now-"
"Fallacy!" We all turn to see Jasper and Erra running towards us. Theh both looked terrified. "Fallacy!" Erra yells. She takes a few deep breaths before.
"Yes Erra what is it?"
"The Spanish thieves! They are back!"
"Do they mean harm?"
"No...but they have an important message.....about the village." She says. I turn to Suave and tell him to bring them to me. He nods and follows Erra. "Thieves?" Encre asks.
"Before you arrived here, two Spanish thieves attacked hoping to steal somethings. In the end we caught them but they escaped." I tell him.
"Oh...and they have a message from the village?"
"It seems so..." as I say that Suave and Erra come back with the thieves. One was a short skeleton with a black and white outfit named Cruzer. The other one was a tall black skeleton with a black hat and a black outfit named Macabre. "Fallacy, escuchamos algunas noticias del pueblo, se trata de tu mortal" (Fallacy ,we heard some news from the village, it's about your mortal) said Cruzer.
"¿Qué es?" (What is it?) I ask him.
"Su aprendiz, Carlos, les ha dicho a los cazadores de vampiros que usted se queda con el mortal y que ahora vienen aquí." (Your apprentice, Carlos, has told the vampire hunters about you keeping the mortal and now, they are coming here.)
"WHAT!" I yelled.
"Señor Fallacy-" Cruzer starts.
"That wretched apprentice!"

Encre's PoV:

     "That wretched apprentice!" Fallacy yells. I jump back a bit terrifed. Erra and Jasper run behind me terrified. I didnt understand what they were talking about in Spanish. But whatever it was it made him angry. "Suave...." Fallacy says.
"Y-yes m-m'lord?" Suave says.
"Contact all the strongest vampires in the forest and tell them to prepare to fight. " Fallacy says. My eyes widen in shock. Fight....who is he going to fight? Sauve goes off and I see Fallacy turn to the council. "All of you get your best warriors and send them here now!" They all nod and go off.
"F-fallacy? Whats going on?" I ask him.
"Carlos told the village where you are. Now the whole kingdom is coming here to rescue you if I dont return you." He says. I feel Erra and Jasper run off so its just me and him.
"What? No..." I say. I dont want to go back to that place. No one cared for me there. "I don't want to leave,"
"And I dont want you to leave either." He says in a calm loving voice. My eyes widen shock as he said that.
"W-why's that?" I ask him. A rainbow blush spreads across my face as he moves closer. He grabs my hands gently as a blue blush spreads across his face. "You have made me feel...happy inside. And I dont want to lose that feeling." He says. I feel my blush grow darker as he leans forward.
" um..  Señor? What shall we do to help?" Macabre asks. Fallacy snapes back and looks at them.
"W-well if you can fight you can help us. And go off somewhere to help. BUT NO STEALING ANYTHING!" He yells. They nod and run off. He turns back to me and smiles. We both lean forward till the space betweens us closes. We stay like that for a bit then he separates the kiss. When we part I feel my face heat up more. I look at him and he smiles. "Now we have to find somewhere you'll be safe" He grabs my hand and I follow him to find a safe place.

Erra's PoV:

     Suave and I watched the whole thing from afar. "M'lady, your planned worked." He says shocked.
"I know I'm suprised too." I tell him. "Now M'lady-"
"Im not going to hide," I tell him I glare at him. "Im done hiding I want to fight. "
"M'lady I know but-"
"I know how to fight and I know how to protect myself" He grabbs my shoulders and makes my look at him.
"Listen, I know you can fight, I know you can protect yourself, but I also know that your mortal friends are coming to the castle and unlike you. They wont hesitate to kill you after the find out your a vampire." He tells me. I just look at him with sadness in my eyes. I break free from his grip and I run to my room.

Suave's PoV:

     I watch m'lady run to her room. I wanted to follow her but I know it would be no use. I sigh. Most of the maids were scurrying around to get things ready. I already see some vampire warriors fly in. This may as well be a war. I thought. I am afriad of what is to come.

Third person's PoV:

   At the castle of the mortal kingdom the Eterna is there to tell the king news. "My king," Eterna says bowing. "I have news from a vampire"
"Bring him in" the king says. Two guards lead Carlos into the throne room. "Ah King Asgore its a pleasure to meet you" he says bowing.
"What news have you brought me vampire?" Asgore asks.
"King Fallacy has kidnapped your royal artist Encre and is holding him captive."
"What?"
"Yes and I doubt he'll let him go without a fight. "
"Then I'll send 20 troops to receive him," the king said.
"You'll need more than that, Fallacy has alreay started to have the strongest warriors at his castle."
"Then ill send 1000." He stops and looks at Eterna. "Eterna you will be the commander of 250 troops." Ererna nods. "And see if you are able to convince Kind Phillip of the werewolf kingdom to fight with us."
"My king how will I do that?"
"His daughter, Stitch lives in the village."
"The one with Timothy?"
"Yes." Asgore says. Eterna nods and walks out.
"Now vampire-"
"Carlos"
"Carlos, now tell me how to save my artist."
"My pleasure."
