I looked at the time, it was 3 now. How had the time gone by so fast? Was my mom awake? I hoped if she was she didn't notice the key missing from bag. That's when I starting thinking more. If my father was the alpha of the pack then wasn't my mom the Luna? Wouldn't she of known what really happened to my father? Why would she abandon the pack? What ever lead Rick too killing my father must have been really bad if it possibly destroyed everything my family worked for. I just wish I knew why. I wish my father would have let me know about all of this when I was younger. Why hadn't he? I kept looking through that book trying to find something that would help me Figure out what to do. I finally found a page that I thought would at least help me through tonight.

Question 17: What happens the first turn/shift

The first time is always the hardest, but once it's done it's the most amazing thing one wolf shifter will feel. It starts with every full moon before the first shift, one will feel stronger and more powerful through out the day but won't experience any wolf ability's. On the day of the first shift everything will feel the same as other full moons until the moon hits its peak. Once it hits its peak one will start to feel their bones shift, the pain is bearable but for a first timer it will feel very uncomfortable but it gets easier every time after. Once all of ones bones have grown and shifted into place, the shift will be complete. It may take some time to get used to being on all fours and being a giant Wolf but the ability's that come with are amazing. After ones first shift wolf ability's will start to come in play.

All wolves ability's include:
Heightened hearing (also in human form)
Super spreed
Strength
Healing (also in human form)
Night Vision
Agility
Mind link with pack and family (also in human form)
Having their inner wolf spirt with one at all times
Sent

Some wolves are blessed by the moon goddess with other ability's that Arnt known very well  (can be read about in wolves and the moon Goddess volume 2)

For the first full moon shift one will stay in there wolf form all night until sunrise. After this night one will be able to shift at there own free will and change back at any time they wish. All one must do is think about doing it and it will happen.

One important note is with ever wolf shifter after there first shift will meet there wolf spirt or as what most call it their wolf. They have their own feelings and thoughts but they are one with the being. Having one human soul and one wolf soul creating a wolf shifter. Sometimes if  a wolf spirt is having very strong emotions or if by consent ones wolf spirt will take control. Now don't get confused humans and their wolves both have the same mate, even if they feel differently about them but those situations are very rare. (Learn more on mates with question 50)

There was so much information but it helped me understand what I was expecting. I guess this all explains why I feel less weak on the full moon. I just don't understand why my father didn't prepare me for this, or even my mother. I'll read more tomorrow but I was starving and I needed to get something to eat and make dinner for my mom.

I made my way back upstairs and saw my mom in the living room watching the news.

"Hey Mom.. if there anything you want for dinner tonight?" I asked her

"Whatever we have I got a fuckin headache, so just be quite would ya" she didn't look at me she just kept looking at the tv. I wanted to tell her that the tv wouldn't help her headache but knowing her she would just get mad and tell me to shut up.

I decided on making her some grilled cheese since we only really had bread and cheese right now. It wasn't like we were poor mom just never bothers to get grocery's and I have school and try to avoid seeing anyone from school. As I was making dinner I kept hearing my phone buzz on the counter. I had been away from it all afternoon but it's not like I have many friends so who would be texting me?
