Work's been busy as always. The months were approaching December, which is one of the busiest times of the year, especially to a flower shop.
Since everyone loved a winter wonderland theme over anything, more orders were put into the flower shop. The problem was that flowers weren't available to plant, so Jade is making orders to meet the demand. Her weekends were already booked solid, making her barely having time for anything else.
Her secret meetings with Perrie turned into occasional visits to the shop, and possibly dropping off dinner at her house. Today was no exception.
Jade drove home in a terrible mood, not wanting to talk to anyone. It was one of those days at work where she got complaints about the smallest of things. The roses weren't red enough, bouquets not big enough, 'I ended up adding a couple more tables, so I need seven more centerpieces by tomorrow' type of problems. No one knew the troubles a florist went through.
Sure, you spend every day in an abundance of flowers; cheery, colorful flowers, but that meant nothing when you have those pain-in-the-ass customers. Jade had tolerated other people telling her that being a florist wasn't 'big time job', since you just worked with innocent, painless flowers. They were wrong. If they only knew how many times the brunette had endured countless of scratches, cuts, and broken nails from working with innocent, painless flowers.
Jade opened a bottle of cab and poured herself a drink. She toed off her shoes, then swirled the contents of the glass before took a long sip. "I need something stronger," she mused, searching through her fridge. "Oh yeah, that'll work," she muttered once she found a bottle of vodka.
She put the cab away and poured herself a shot of vodka, throwing the content at the back of her throat. "Oh yeah," she exhaled hard.

A knock on the door interrupted her pity party. "No one's home!" she called out, pouring herself another shot, her third in seven minutes.
"I guess the Chinese will have to wait." Hearing the blonde's sweet voice already lifted her spirits by THIS much.
Jade walked to the door and opened it, immediately slipping an arm around the blonde's waist and pulled her inside.
"Please hold me, the stress is not good for the baby."
The blonde furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, dropping the bag on the little table by the door and enclosed the girl within her arms. "What baby?"
"Me. I'm the baby."
Perrie chuckled as she stroked down her brown locks. "Oh honey, what's wrong?"
Jade let go from the embrace and took the blonde's hand, leading her to the living room where the fireplace was lit with the bottle of vodka resting on the table. "Terrible day. The kind where all you want is to close down the business and just run away."
Instead of sitting down the couch, Perrie grabbed a couple of pillows, placed them at a safe distance from the fire and took a seat, pulling the brunette down with her and setting her between her legs and supporting all her weight. "You want to talk about it?" she questioned, kissing Jade's temple and moving her hair all to one side so she could nibble on the brunette's earlobe.
Jade let out a quiet moan at the sensation. "No, I just want to stay here with you. They should bottle you up and send you to miserable people," she joked.
Perrie chuckled, her skin vibrating. "I only comfort particular people, you being my number one customer."
Jade sighed and relaxed in her position for a few moments, in total silence. It's what Jade liked about her even more, they were comfortable enough to just sit in silence, and not do anything. She liked how their relationship wasn't just based on talking about each other's feelings, or sex. It went more complex than that. It had to do with just being there, either sitting across from each other at the dinner table, or sitting like this in a tight embrace. They didn't need to fill the silence, they just let it be.
