It was Christmas Eve, the holiday that was just as romantic as Valentine's day and she was lucky enough to spend it with the woman she loved.

The entire night was already planned. First, the blonde was going to pick her up at her place and then they were going to the most elegant, most luxurious restaurant that the city has to offer. After an extravagant dinner, they would head off to their reservations at the largest hotel where Perrie reserved the VIP suite for the entire weekend where they would spend the time in each other's arms.

It was going to be the most perfect night because at the right moment - after making love with one another - Jade would finally reveal her true feelings for the woman she was with, reveal that she was crazily and utterly in love with her.

For the meantime, the brunette occupied herself by packing her things while mentally preparing a speech for her confession later on. Suddenly, her bedroom door opened to reveal Leigh Anne on the other side, cutting her off from her thoughts. "Getting ready for the next step?" she teased, plopping on top of the bed, lying down on her stomach.

Jade fake-laughed. "We're not getting married, Leigh."

"It's Christmas Eve and she's whisking you away into your own fairy land where you dance the night away and profess your undying love." She exaggerated as Jade held up two different colored lingerie. "The red one, it's more romantic."

She tossed the chosen garment in her suitcase, "Listen, Leigh, you know how we love your witty self, it's what makes you... you. But for now, can we have a real conversation, where we say things that we really mean and not act all sarcastic?"

"Hey, I'm still a little upset that you told Lauren about your undying love for blondie before you told me!" The raven haired girl scolded, throwing a pillow directly at the brunette.

"Lauren was nice about it. And she didn't throw sarcastic remarks every turn she got."

Leigh Anne smiled and sighed. "Fine. I'll be normal," she winked. "Where is she taking you?"

"First, she made reservations at the Waldorf where we're going to have dinner and talk," she chuckled. "And then she booked a suite at the hotel where..."

"Oh, I know what's going to happen. You guys are going to strip down into an almost nothing attire and she's going to kiss you senseless where you realize that before it was just sex and friendship, but now it's making love and you feel your heart join as one and it's the most incredible feeling ever," Leigh exaggeratedly described.

Jade shot her a warning glance, "Is this you being sarcastic again?"

"Jade, I've known you forever. I know that look in your eyes when your heart swells up. I've seen your bookshelf and watched you get teary eyed reading a romantic part. You're the biggest romantic I know. You're a big fan of love, and even though you didn't tell us, I knew. You hide your feelings well sometimes, but when it's overwhelming as hitting you on top of your head with a hammer, you can't hide it even if you begged."

Jade joined her friend on the bed. "She's amazing. You know, yesterday I went to work and on my desk was a single orchid floating in a glass of water and a note saying the most fragile thing is always the most beautiful and it was the picture of just the two of us. And when I got home, there were dozens of them all over the place with just shots of us everywhere I turn. I mean, who does that?"

"If you don't want her, can I have her? I wouldn't mind changing my sexuality for Perrie."

The two of them laughed. "My heart swells when I'm with her; literally swells, and when I'm not with her, I just... I want to crawl in a corner and just lie there until she comes."
