Soooooo this was for last night's little accident. I decided to prioritize this one today.
P.S. this gets a little cringey and cliché in the middle and the end. So meh.

Perrie brushed the brunette's moist eyes, but the tears didn't stop. Pulling Jade against her, she wrapped herself around the girl. Jade buried her face in the crook of the blonde's neck, letting it all out. The cries, the sobs, the desperation, the vulnerability; everything her voice couldn't say.
Perrie opened a closet door, and saw that it was empty. She pulled the brunette in, closing themselves in the darkness, and slowly sat down, bringing Jade down with her. She gently rocked her, stroking her back, not saying a word. She never lost anyone close to her before, so she can only imagine the pain that the brunette must be going through. She couldn't help but feel useless because her life experience would never be able to help the girl.
A couple of minutes later, Jade's cries finally subsided, her sobs turning into a minor case of sniffles and hiccups. She took a deep breath and looked up at Perrie. "I'm sorry." She said. "I just embarrassed myself in front of you."
"That's impossible," Perrie shook her head, pushing a lock of hair behind the brunette's ear.
"And I ruined your top."
Perrie shrugged, "Nothing laundry can't fix. It's not good, is it?"
"We're approaching the finish line. I just didn't want them to see me cry. I didn't want you to see me cry." She said. "But here you are."
Perrie removed her hands around the brunette, and sat back relaxing. Maybe they wouldn't just leave just yet. Maybe this was her chance to show the brunette that her feelings still hasn't changed. "You were gone for a while." Her tone was patient, soft, and reliable. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Jade dropped her head on the girl's shoulders and took a deep breath, looping her arms through the blonde's. "You're always there watching over me."
Her eyes met Perrie's, and there was that split second where everything just clicked. It was like the moment that most married couples would describe when they talk about how they knew their significant other was the one. The infamous one, Jade thought cynically; romantically. Her blue eyes were inviting, and the brunette wanted to take that invitation. It wasn't that much of a shock to her, she knew that Perrie was special, heck, she could even be that special. But it was the first time that her gut agreed without any hesitations; without any doubts.
So without a second thought, Jade pushed herself up to that last inch which separated them.
It wasn't just by instinct, which the blonde must've probably thought. It wasn't because there was that unsaid desire trembling deep within -- though there was. And it wasn't because her father was in the hospital, who was probably spending his last night. It was because she needed to. She needed to kiss the blonde; needed to feel their lips touching, moving togeter. She needed to have that intimate contact between the two of them.
She deepened the kiss, separating her lips and letting the blonde in. But instead of enticing the girl's senses, Perrie gently pushed her away.
"We shouldn't be doing this," her hands pulled the brunette's away from her neck. "Trust me, as hard as it is to do that right now, we can't do this."
Knowing the blonde was right didn't make the feelings go away. "I miss you," she whispered.
"I didn't go anywhere." Perrie kissed the side of the girl's face, just about the cheekbone. Her hands covered the brunette's, trying to assure her.
