The noise died down when everyone stared at Jesy who was standing at the doorway that separates the dining room from the living room. She stared at Perrie, lifting her palms to stop Harry's attempt of getting up. "What the hell's going on?"

"Dinner," Leigh Anne smiled widely, elbowing André on her side.

He choked, "Right." André agreed, clearing his throat. "Uhm... just enjoying some good ol' lasagna. I'll go get you a place setting."

"No, thanks. Obviously, I walked into a stranger's house. All of you continue on what you were doing that's apparently none of my business."

"Jes – "

"You and I," she interrupted Harry and gave Perrie a deadly stare. "We'll deal later."

When she walked out, the tension surrounding the table was palpable.

"You still didn't tell her?" André asked softly, looking at Perrie.

"I was still trying to figure it out," the blonde sighed, rubbing her forehead. "No. No, I didn't tell her." Perrie admitted defeatedly. "Look, I'm gonna try and get back on her good side. I'll see you all later." She pushed her seat back, kissed Jade and hugged everyone else before walking out the door.

Perrie knew where she'd be. You see, Jesy is the type of person who suppresses their anger, and working in the corporate world where she deals with different types of people and problems every day made her an expert at it. But when she does experience a fit of rage, she sees batting as a form of emotional release. Somehow, being in an indoor batting cage helps her blow off steam by letting out the aggression through hitting the baseballs. So that's where Perrie went to look for her.

When Perrie arrived, Jesy was continuously hitting a steady stream of baseballs shooting out of the pitching machine. Her hands gripping the bat so tight that her knuckles are turning pale. Her lips pursed and her brows knitted in a frown.

Jesy momentarily looked up, sensing someone's presence, only to be met by the last person she wanted to see. If Perrie squinted, she would probably be able to see steam blowing out of the girl's ears. "Jes, please hear me out."

Jesy took a swing at the flying baseball. "Fuck you, Perrie."

"Fine, fuck me. But just he - "

Everything happened so fast that Perrie didn't have time to dodge the punch directed at her. The next thing she knew was being knocked down on the ground with her hands and knees supporting her weight while blood drips down her nose.

"Are you done with the hitting?" Perrie asked, slowly getting back up on her feet all the while pinching the soft part of her nose to stop the bleeding and spat out any blood that gathers in her mouth.

"I want to know what the hell you were doing with your hands on Jade."

Perrie raised her hands, "I am not talking to you while you have that weapon on your hands."

Jesy dropped the bat. "How long have you been moving in on her?"

"I didn't move in with her. If anything, we moved in on each other. Come on, Jes, she's a grown woman. She makes her own decisions. It's not like I batted my eyelashes and stole her virginity."

Jesy's eyes flared with temper. It guaranteed death if she was pushed far enough. "Watch it," she warned. "You slept with her."

"Let's just rewind a little bit." Perrie said, trying to ease down the tension.

"Yes or no, dammit."

"Yes, I slept with her. She slept with me; we slept with each other."

Sirens were going off in Jesy's brain. Something deadly flared in her eyes as the muscles in her face tightened. Balling her right hand into a fist, she threw another punch to the blonde's face that resulted for Perrie to fall backwards.
