A/N: I got inspired today. Lol.
The day was finally here. Away in the Church, Jade could hear the endless chatters outside her door. The jitters were making her tremble, but not in a bad way -- in an amazing way. Her heart was pumping in her chest, and her fingers shaking with anticipation.
The bridal party was just past the adjoining doors and Jade could hear laughter from the people who were trying to figure out how to accessorize. When she was finished, she admired her glowing self in the mirror. Her hair was pinned up, with flowy, romantic tresses framing her face. The Spanish veil pooling down to the floor, and her lace, strapless dress fitted her body.
Not to sound conceited, but Jade knew she was the prettiest woman in the entire world at that particular moment. No one looked as good as she did, and she was proud to say it.
Slipping into her white ballet flats, she can't help but feel giddy about getting married. Today was their day, and she was going to enjoy every moment of it -- starting with the ceremony. Hearing the door open, Jade smiled when her mom walked in.
"Oh, sweetie, you look like an angel."
"I know," Jade laughed. "So, is everybody ready?"
"Not just yet." Norma reached into her purse and took out a blue butterfly pin. "I'm not sure if this matches your look, but this is your father and mine's gift to you."
Jade recognized it almost immediately. Being the hopeless romantic she was, she looked through her mother's wedding treasure every year since she was 14. "Mam..." Her eyes shone with coming tears. "Of course it matches."
"Your father gave it to me the day of our wedding, and I know he'd want you to wear it." Norma attached it to her daughter's hair, being careful not to tear the veil. "You're the most beautiful bride I know."
"I'm ready." Jade assured.
"Then let's go." She took her daughter's hand and led her down to the entrance, where she gave the nod to initiate the beginning.

Perrie was the first one to walk down the aisle with her mom and dad, who flew down a month before. Then there were the usual crew -- Jesy, Harry, Leigh-Anne, and André. Next were the flower girls, and Baby Karl with the rings; her mother and her step-father also made it down the aisle. When it was her turn, the harpist strung the musical note -- signaling that it was the moment everyone's been waiting for. Karl took his sister's arm and smiled, "You can still back out. I'll give you the key to my car," he joked.
Jade shook her head, "You're giving me away whether you want to or not, big brother." She smiled.
"Then let's do it," he gave her a quick peck on the cheek and they started their walk down the flowery aisle with Pachelbel's Canon playing.
The moment she saw Perrie waiting for her in her own white gown, she was beginning to fall apart, but her smile never faltered. She couldn't help but laugh when the blonde touched the corner of her eye and mouthed "Hi."
Jade stuck her tongue out in a playful manner and winked at her wife-to-be. The brunette knew that all eyes were on her, and for the first time, she welcomed the attention.
As the brunette approached, Perrie found it harder and harder to breath. For a second, she wondered whether if something was actually wrong. Then laughing at herself inside, the blonde realized that this is how it must feel when you are marrying someone you love with every fiber of your being.
When they got to the front of the altar, Karl gave another kiss to his sister and gave her away to the one person he trusted his life to give his sister her all.
