Perrie was still working late at her desk in her home office. André and Harry came over to congratulate her on branding Jade. They shared a few laughs at her expense, and all supported her in this new adventure. After they left, it was already nighttime and Perrie decided to go for a run.

The entire day was wasted, she thought, on thinking about a night that didn't happen. She was lecturing herself about what she did wrong that night, and over and over again, embarrassment drowned her soul. She couldn't believe she threw Jade off the bed.

By the time she got home, it was 8:30, and she needed to complete a sketch for a client before their meeting the next day. That was pretty much the only thing that kept her mind off of something beautiful and tempting. It took almost every fiber in her body to not walk out her front door and break all speeding records just to finish what her and the brunette started almost twenty-four hours before.

After six hours of working and still going at it, Perrie had her heater blasting through the vents causing her to strip down to a tank top and boxer shorts.

She was sweating, but she kept herself hydrated with the three-liter bottle of water by her work table and awake from her constant brewing of coffee. It was half past three in the morning; and since it was just approaching winter in the big city, the sun wasn't out yet.

Perrie stretched her limbs and her neck muscles, only to receive a jolt of reality from the pain. "Fine, you want sleep, you'll get sleep." She mumbled to herself, turning off her work light and bringing her mug and bottle of water with her to the kitchen and walking up to her bedroom to take a shower. Ten minutes later, she changed into her night gown and crawled into bed. She didn't have an early day tomorrow; the meeting starting around four in the afternoon, but without putting her alarm clock, it would mean she'd probably wake up ten minutes before and then risk losing her job. So, she grabbed her phone, set her alarm for one in the afternoon, and saw that she had a text message received fifteen minutes ago. She clicked on it and read the single line.

Was she kidding? Every thought that didn't revolve around Jade - particularly a naked Jade - was a struggle, which explained the six or seven hours of finishing up two rooms. Six hours on a regular day permitted her to finish a two-storey house. Everything she's done the entire day took her twice as long as it should've because she was thinking.

No point in telling her that, she decided. So just how was she supposed to answer? She figured that since Jade sent that text message minutes before, the brunette was probably losing as much sleep as she was and she smiled as she hit Reply.

I'm thinking you should come over tomorrow night wearing nothing but a trench coat. And maybe a back brace.

After clicking on Send, she sat back intrigued by the idea and imagined - very vividly - what Jade would look like in a trench coat. And maybe high heels, she thought. Red heels. Really high red heels. And once she'd loosened the belt of the coat --.

The next thing the blonde knew, the sun was shining in her eyes and she felt a trickle of moisture fall from her mouth.

Jade stepped out of her bed and yawned. The lack of sleep would end up killer her. After college, she figured she needed at least eight hours of sleep to function well. Jade had only four full hours that night. Damn Perrie for doing this to me. She grabbed her phone and checked the time. Great, she thought, it was barely nine in the morning and her work day would start in less than an hour. But the little envelope in the corner of the screen made her smile.

She clicked on it and snorted out a laugh.

"Trench coat and back brace. Good one. Let's see..." You'll have to choose between my back braces, she laughed. I guess I'll have to try them on with my collection of trench coats. I have a particular favorite one. It's black and has a shine so it always looks... wet.
