She wouldn't listen to my pleas as she spoke with the Luna of the pack besides mine. I had just become alpha and already I was failing my duty. I couldn't just go run after her, I'd cause an uproar between packs.
I only really listened to one part of their conversation about her going to the Rogue Mountains. No, no, no- this is all my fault.
"You sure as heck are right it's all your fault!" Finn yells into my head, making me flinch. "She was your only chance at happiness, my only chance at true happiness!" I knew he was trying to fight me internally but I could hear the true pain in his whimpering voice. I sighed out loud as Zelda took the Luna's hand.
I watched as she collapsed into her arms and I couldn't do anything about it. My mate swayed and then fell limp. The woman took her in her arms and started to run in the direction I guessed was their pack house.
As of now, we needed to get back to ours. Alpha Gracan is an old friend, I'll have to speak with him. But as I turned to leave her scent left me and I whimpered quietly. My Beta, Houston, placed a hand on my shoulder.
"What happened with her?" he asks.
I sigh angrily, "She's my mate, Houston and I rejected her. The worse part about it is she accepted it, she goddamn accepted it!" I was mad for no reason, a side effect of not having my mates calming scent to calm down my senses.
"Xenos, calm down," he says. "The pack needs you, you can't go on a rant right now."
I nod slowly, "Yeah, yeah you're right Houston, I'm sorry."
"It's alright," he says, "- but if you don't mind me asking don't you and Alpha Gracan know each other?"
"Yeah," I say. "I'll have to contact him. I need her, my mate I mean. I made a huge mistake and now she's a rogue because of me. For goodness sakes she wants to go to the Rogue Mountains!"
Houston winces, "That's not good. You'll never find her once she goes up into those puzzle pieces of nature."
                                    I growl, "I realize that."
"I'm going to head back, I suggest you do the same," he states whilst shifting. I stare off at a tree as his bones crack and reform and he runs off back to the pack house. I shake my head.
"I'll find you soon, mate," I say to the wind.

Talking awoke me from my peaceful slumber. Terra awoke alongside me, her hyperactive mind already at work. The room was dimmed but I had still been in darkness for quite a while, as of a cause, I squinted.
They must've noticed I had awoken because the people stopped talking. From the deep tone I could tell they were males. I took a deep inhale, one alpha the other his beta. Alpha Gracan is his name I believe.
I see that I'm on a very comfortable bed in a simple, red themed room. A man comes into view. He must be the alpha, his build is incredible. A bit bigger than Xenos, but this man was older than my former alpha too.
I sit up in the comfortable bed and look down at it.
"I've never been in one of these before," I state out loud.
"What does that mean, child?" the man asks in a deep accented voice.
I sigh, "A real bed." I hear him growl for some reason but don't make eye contact.
