I wake up in full content. Xenos still holding me tightly, my head cleared, and I feel refreshed. His scent is regenerating my mind as his eyes flutter open. Those steely grey orbs stare up at me, drowsiness shining through them.

"Good morning," he says in a deep, husky morning voice.

"Mornin'," comes my simple answer. I sit up, stretching out my sore limbs. Before I can get up he pulls me back down into his solid chest. I rest my head on his shoulder as I gently rub my fingers up and down his abs. He sighs in content as he leans further into his pillow. But that's when a knock sounds at the door and Xenos growls lowly, obviously upset someone came to ruin our moment.

I roll my eyes and get up. I'm walking to the door when Xenos gasps loudly. I spin around to see him staring at me.

My eyebrows furrow in confusion. "What?"

He springs to his feet, off of the bed and is rushing towards me. Once he gets to me he spins me around. I can feel his hard stare, glaring at something on my back. He presses down on a specific place and I hiss in pain, jolting out of his touch. I look at him to see sadness flash through his eyes at harming me.

I shake my head, "You didn't hurt me that bad. Now tell me why you're so worked up." I can see tears brimming his eyes.

"You're hurt, mate," he whimpers. I stare at him with a confused glance but walk over to a body length mirror. I turn my body the best I can while still looking to see something protruding under my shirt, making the fabric stick up. There are two of these little nubs, and I stare at them with wide eyes. I am quick to take off my shirt. I gasp at the sight.

There are two hills out of my back, but they're in my skin. As in my skin is being stretched for the supernatural growths. I look back at Xenos to see him frowning and a single tear slip out of his eye. I rush over to him and pull him into a hug. He sighs in content.

While putting my hands around his back I feel something abnormal. I dread the sight as I now spin him around. I lightly touch the nubs, exact replicas of mine, coming out of his shirtless back.

I groan, "You have them too." Xenos goes wide-eyed, rushing over to the same mirror leaving against his dark furniture cabinet. He gasps at the sight of the tiny hills.

"What are they?" he asks whilst bending to touch them.

I shrug, "I have no idea." Inside of my body I'm freaking the hell out, but I keep a calm stature on the outside for Xenos' sake.

Another knock sounds on the door and Xenos huffs as he rushes over, ripping open the door. Standing there is Beta Houston. Xenos is still fuming but calms down at the sight of his best friend.

"I'm sorry to intrude Xenos," he says, "- but there are pack members who are planning to leave. I thought you should know." Xenos' calm state leaves him immediately as he starts to rage again. I come up in front of him, grabbing his face. He doesn't look me in the eye, instead stares at Houston, nostrils flaring.

"Look at me Xenos," I say in a steady voice. He looks down at me to see me shirtless in front of another male and shields me with his body.

"Mine," he whispers lowly into my ear.

I pat his back soothingly. "All yours." He takes a deep breath in and out, calming himself.

He looks back at Houston. "I'll see to it." I can sense Houston leaving then, and can hear the door closing shut.
