You Complete Me [JUNHWAN FANFICTION]

Chapter 23

Jinhwan sneaked down the stairs, hoping nobody would see him with Mandu nestled in his arms. He tiptoed towards the back door of the building and walked outside to meet Junhoe.

"Here, I'll take him to the car now."

Junhoe took Mandu from Jinhwan and carried him as he walked to his car. While Jinhwan went back up to the dorm to go get his stuff.

Today was the day that they were going home to Junhoe's house. Jinhwan was half excited, half nervous. He didn't want to bother Junhoe's family. He just hoped that he was going to get something positive out of this and that they were going to have a good time.

Jinhwan turned the door knob and walked in the bedroom. He quickly rummaged through his bag and rechecked to see if his stuff was complete, and if he didn't forget anything.

He went out of the dorm and walked down the stairs as quickly as possible. Hanbin wasn't home. So he wanted to get out while he was gone. He didn't want to run into him while he was leaving.

"Are we ready to go?"

Jinhwan nodded, he looked at Mandu and back to Junhoe and smiled.

"Let's go!"

Jinhwan turned on the radio so they could both listen to music. Junhoe stepped on the gas and drove. Jinhwan looked back. He stared at the sight of the huge university getting smaller and smaller as the car drove further out into the road.

Jinhwan looked out from the windshield. He gaped at the trees that had snow piling up on them instead of leaves that hang from the branches. He stared at the wide, long road that was blanketed in white, fluffy snow being walked on by people in coats.

Jinhwan admired this atmosphere. The boy loved seeing bright sunny days, he loved feeling the cold brush over his body. Being with Junhoe, who makes him feel the warmest, makes it a thousand times better.

Jinhwan turned around to face Mandu, who was sitting down calmly in the back seat. He stretched his arms out and carried Mandu to his lap.

"I forgot to ask you Junhoe."

"Hm?" Junhoe raised an eyebrow, but he didn't turn to look at Jinhwan since he was focused on the road.

"Do you have any pets?" Jinhwan asked as he brushed and stroked through Mandu's fur.

Junhoe hummed. "I've never owned any animals in my whole life before."

Jinhwan nodded. "That's sad."

Junhoe laughed at the response he got from his boyfriend. "That's okay. I have you."

Jinhwan raised his eyebrow and looked at Junhoe. "Are you telling me that I'm a pet?"

Junhoe stopped the car in front of another one as the traffic lights turned red. He shifted his gaze from the road and to Jinhwan's face that was glowing from the bright sunlight shining down on them.

"What I meant was you make me a million times happier than a pet animal does." Junhoe grinned. Giving the other male a peck on the lips after.

Jinhwan quickly retreated and turned his face to the window beside him, hiding his cheeks that were starting to blush. Junhoe smiled at him and stepped on the gas, making the car move as the traffic lights turned green.

"I love you baby." Junhoe said with a sweet tone as he drove away.

Jinhwan felt even more nervous as the car neared the house that Junhoe pointed at. He had been dreading this moment since he didn't know how to react to what could happen.

"We're here." Junhoe said excitingly as he turned the steering wheel.

Jinhwan observed the light yellow painted concrete walls and light blue roof that made up the big house. He gaped at the variety of potted plants and flowers that were spread across the yard. The array of all sorts of decorations around the outside of the house was almost completely  engulfed in the thick white layer of snow.

Junhoe knocked on the door a few times before the front door was unlocked by his mom. She had short dark hair, she wore dark blue floral dress, and she looked like she was in her early 40's.

"Hi mom." Junhoe greeted his mom as she pulled him in for a tight hug. She placed her head on Junhoe's shoulder as they hugged, which gave her a chance to finally notice that there was someone behind her.

Junhoe's mom widened her eyes in amazement and pulled away from her son.

"Are you Jinhwan?"

Jinhwan nodded shyly, making the lady jump in excitment.

"Nice to meet you Mrs. Koo." Jinhwan bowed. Shaking hands afterwards.

"It's so nice to meet you too! Junhoe has told me almost everything about you." She said while holding Jinhwan's hand.

"Is that your dog?" She asked, pointing at Mandu.

"Yes, his name is Mandu." Jinhwan smiled back.

Mrs. Koo bent down to carry the new furry
friend she had just made and gestured the two boys to come inside.

"Come in! Come in!"

Junhoe turned the door knob and swung open the door to their room.

"Home sweet home." Junhoe said as he plopped down his stuff.

"Welcome to my room. I mean, our room."

Jinhwan remained silent so that he could control himself from getting overwhelmed by the fact that the room was spacious enough to fit 5 people. Mrs. Koo's voice along with Mandu's barks can be heard from downstairs since they were playing with each other.

Jinhwan sat down on the foot of the bed. This was the only bed in the room. The rest of the space was occupied by other random things.

Junhoe turned and looked at Jinhwan. He walked over to him and sat beside him.

"What do you think?"

Jinhwan's head turned to face Junhoe, he nodded as a response. Making Junhoe chortle.

Jinhwan snaked his arms around Junhoe's waist and hugged them tightly and also snuck his head in the younger's chest. Junhoe responded by wrapping his arms around Jinhwan's shoulders and gave him a kiss on the head.

But Jinhwan immediately backed away from each other after they heard the door creak open along with Mrs. Koo's footsteps.

"Do you two need anything?"

Junhoe looked over to Jinhwan. They stared at each other for a second before Jinhwan looked back at Mrs. Koo and shook his head.

"N-Not really. I mean, not right now Mrs. Koo. Thank you"

"Okay. I'll let you guys be alone together. Get some rest okay?"

Jinhwan and Junhoe nodded.

"Have fun you two."

The two earned a grin and a wink from her as the door was closed shut. Junhoe and Jinhwan looked at each other.

Junhoe laughed. Making the other laugh as well.

Junhoe went back to hugging Jinhwan. This time, his arms held him tighter. He then placed soft kisses on his forehead. Jinhwan returned the kiss on his lips and hugged him back. The older male continued and pushed Junhoe's body down on the bed, making him grunt.

The two are now laying down on the foot of the bed, in each other's arms. The two dug into each other's warmth, eventually falling into a deep nap together.
