Chapter 6

As the bike started I immediately wrapped my arms around Aiden.
I closed my eyes shaking in fear, trying to avoid all the thoughts coming into my mind. I have hated bikes since the very beginning . And I don't even know why I got into this thing for this guy.

"Cupcake" I heard Aiden's voice.

"Huh"

"We are here"

I shot open my eyes only to realize my position. I was totally clinging to Aiden from the back. A blush crept on my cheeks. I let go of him and climbed down the bike.

"Thanks"I said with a slight blush on my cheek.

"For?" He asked raising his brows

"The ride. And your concern . I really appreciate it, a lot" I said looking down

"Your always welcome sweetheart."

Sweetheart? Wasn't I called cupcake!
I looked up at him in confusion

"Just felt like calling you that" he blurted out suddenly. My heart skipped a beat at that.

"Uhh..I guess you should head back home . " I said trying to avoid any eye contact.

"Why?"

"What why? I don't want any of yesterday's repeat telecast" I said trying to forget that scene.

"Oh that . That was just Jake Smith overreacting, as usual. " He replied with a look that I couldn't comprehend .

" Mind you. He's my brother. " I said sharply.

"I remember cupcake. I was just stating facts "

"You-"I started before Aiden cut me.

"Your right. Let me just head home. Even I'm not really in a fighting mode today"

With this he rode away.

No goodbye. Nothing. I was sad. Guess, my brother's topic really pisses him off.

"Hey Mom. I'm back" I walked in declairng my presence.

"Shh Darling . Jake and Kate are having some important discussion upstairs. Jake asked me to make sure no one interrupts and no noise reaches on top" she said in a hushing tone.

"What? Jake and Kate discussing something important!?"

This is weird .

Should I go on top and make sure if everything's okay. Knowing Jake, I'm sure he will not hurt her. But I am curious.

I just decided to go and check myself. The door was locked from inside. I put my ears on the door to hear what exactly was going inside.

"Shh Katie. Everything is fine okay? I promise I'll beat the guy into pulp. Just calm down . Will you? "

Wait. What? My brother is sweet talking Kate. Wow, that's a first . I put my ears back to listen more.

" We LL report this to police. Get that guy arrested. Okay? "

Wow. Jake is talking sense. Good one bro.

With this , the door swung open

"Oh-woow" .. my balance shook , but Jake caught me at the right time.

"What are u doing Hailes? Spying?" He asked bluntly.

"Me-spying.....no..not at all..I was just....just coming to look after Kate...
So how's she? " I sluttered.

" Fine now . Oh and by the way, she din't loose her virginity or anything to him. He just drugged her and hence she she was sore and all . I swear I'll find that bastard and screw him big time . How dare he touch her. " He said clenching his fists.

"Jake. We LL find him and give him to police . I don't want you murdering people! "I said firmly.

"Whatever" he said and moved away room my room.

I entered my room finding Kate resting.

"Kate? "

"Hailes" I looked at me engulfing me in hug.

"You know...you know....I have my virginity intact. No one raped me. It's some stupid drug that caused the illusion. "

"Yeah Kate. Jake told me . Im happy . And Kate don't you worry okay? I'm here. Jake's here. Mom's here. We are all here okay? We'll make sure he gets caught." I said trying my best to reassure her.

She hugged me tighter with this. Oh Lord, please ,just please help me hunt that man down .So I can cut his balls.
