Chapter 12

"Oh my God...he asked you for a date Hailey. Im hyperventilating. I'm so happy for you. " says Kate who's been overenthusiastic about my date ever since she heard of it.

"Yeah I'm excited too. But I'm not sure" I said biting my tongue.

"Why? Are you crazy the hottest guy , well the second-hottest after Jake, asked you out for a date . You're one lucky woman!" Kate said

"Yeah,But that's the problem. He's hot, charming and certainly the hottest,more than Jake I must add."I said trying to convince her.

"Why is that a problem?"she asked in confused tone.

Honestly I can never exactly point out what the problem is. Maybe everything was happening too fast. I'm the slow movie type of person. I like things to go slow . Sometimes pace is nice. But great love stories take time to happen. I don't want to be Aiden Clayton's fling . I want to be his love. I know it's too soon. But I always wanted a love story , not a fling story. Maybe that's what disappoints me.

"I don't know. I cant point out. Let's see, I might get a better picture after the date."I said.

"Cool. What are you wearing anyways. You need to look hot okay? Should I come over? Why am I even asking. I should come over!See ya!"Kate said before loudly banging the phone. This girl is always high on cocaine.

Phone beeps.

Unknown :
*1  hour to go cupcake.Wear something simple and  comfortable :)*

Aiden. A smile immediately crept on my lips. Wait . How did he get my number? I must say his stalking skills are great.

"He's asked me to wear comfy stuff Kate ,and here you have put me in a skin tight dress. I need to get out of this." I complained..

"Are you crazy . This looks gorgeous." Kate said refusing to budge from her dress choice.

Finally I decided to text Aiden about this.

Hailey:
*Can I wear a skinfit dress. Can't find anything better in my wardrobe*

Aiden:
*As much as I would love to see you in it, let's keep that for next time. For now just a jeans and tee works fine ;)*

His reply came almost instantly. He said next time , means he already decided that there would be a next time! Hmm , he's very quick  I must say .

The message persuaded Kate to let me wear my jeans. My first date with Aiden is going to be interesting .

I was finally ready for this date. It was 6:50 pm and Aiden would be here anytime. I asked him to text me so I would come out and we would avoid the confrontation with my brother completely. Luckily he agreed.

My phone beeped.

*I'm here cupcake. Come out soon :)*

My stomach started churning. I was getting the typical teenage thrill in my tummy. This was a happy and weird feeling. I stepped out of my house to see him waiting patiently staring into nothing.

His head turned and his eyes immediately locked with mine. He held my gaze for quite sometime before letting his eyes hover all over my body as if taking every part in. Our staring session was interrupted by the construction noise that suddenly errupted from the adjacent building.

"You look...f..amazing." Aiden said .

"Thanks, you too" I replied with a tinge of red on my face. I couldn't help blushing .He was staring at me as if I were a piece of artwork that he couldn't help ogling over. His piercing gaze never left my face. I sat down eventually on his bike and held on to his shoulder. He started his bike and immediately pressed thr brake with a little harshness, as a result of which my body was thrown onto his with a force. My hands immediately held on to his jacket for support and he immediately started the bike again.
