Chapter 4

"CLAYTON! Get off my sister now!"
I heard my brother howling over us.

"Stop screaming Smith boy. The girl is in here by her own will" . I saw the Clayton guy smirking.

I pushed myself out of his strong grip as I realised the crowd was starting to gather. Okay, the commotion was just beginning .

"Take here name with respect Clayton!" I heard my brother screaming again.

"Ah. Look who's talking about respect. One who couldn't respect his .."

"Shutup u asshole. We aren't getting there now. "

"and you Hailey. Make sure you aren't found anywhere near him again. Or else you'll be grounded" My brother screamed turning towards me .

"And who the hell are you to decide that . You aren't my dad , so stop behaving like one.!" I snapped back not taking any of his orders. He was pissing me . He never gave a damn about my self respect. How could he create such a fuss over me dancing with someone . He berver bothered when I danced with Cole or any of my past boyfriends. Then why now

"Im your older brother, Hailey"

"Older by a minute ,to be precise"

He ignored my comment and continued shoving insults on the Clayton guy . This guy really must be something . He gets on my bothers nerves like no one else. I have never seen my brother like this. I think I should just stay out of their so called rivalry.

I tried moving away from the crowd that had gathered to witness the fight . Just as I was slipping away I heard someone speak up. 
"Wow. That's really a big fight "  I heard Ginna who was in the same English class as me speaking up .

"Yeah I suppose " I replied trying to look least interested.

"So how does it feel , being the centre of all the commotion" she winked

"Awesome . It's a dream come true u know . My brother breaking the neck of the hot guy I seemed to develop a liking for" I snapped.

"So you like the guy there haan?" She cooed with a smirk forming on her face.

"Ah. No..it's just my way of using sarcasm."

"Sure ." she winked.
Did she have some eye problem . She seemed to wink after every sentence . Or maybe she was enjoying my situation too much.

Just then my mobile beeped. It was a message from Cole.

It's emergency Hailes. Your brother asked me to drop you and Kate home .So come over to the parking lot. Hurry up!

Emergency? Really? He got into the fight himself . He fucking started the fight making sure I sure I get all the spotlight and now wants to me to hide and run back home? He's really stupid to the power of infinity. But I had to hurry home anyways. Our curfew time was 12 . And I had to get home on time . Otherwise mom would actually ground me . I texted Cole back .

Will be there in a minute.

I excused myself from Ginna and looked around searching for Kate.
Suddenly I saw a figure of a girl lying on the floor mumbling something.
Was that Kate. Shit. Did she get drunk again!?

"Kate " I screamed

"Hailes? "

"Shit Katie. How did you end up on the ground ? Get up. "

Katie's condition looked serious . I could see some part of her clothes torn and a little bit of blood smeared near her bottom . Shit. What must have happened.!

I helped her getting up and put her hand over my shoulder to help her balance . I carried her like this till the parking.

Tonight is surely going to be a long one.

Katie's POV

I got up with my head feeling heavy . I feel like shit. Lord! My head's hurting like fuck. I heard some noises screaming and swearing around me.
I opened my eyes to get a proper picture.

Shit.

This isn't even my room.

I forced myself to open my eyes even wider . I brathed a sigh of relief realising it's Hailey's room . I must have have crashed here yesterday night. But why don't I remember anything about yesterday . Slight images of me dacing cozily with some Blondie came up.

"Aaahhhhh" why can't I remember anything clearly.

"Kate. Are you up" I heard Hailey's concerned voice near the door.

"Here. Give her some lemonade. She'll feel better" I heard a deep voice instructing Hailey. Jake. Obviously it's him. I can recognise this voice anywhere , anytime , in whatever state I might be in.

"Hailes . Why the hell can't I remember anything . And my body , it's hurting so damn much "

"Kate , are you sore down there!?" I heard Hailey's questioning with her brows raised

"Uh Yeah , a little"

"Shit. I think u might have lost your virginity last night. Given that your clothes were kinda torn and smeared with blood."

"What the fucking hell Hailes " I screamed ." Who jokes around when their friend is literally in so much pain!"

She sounded serious. Shit . Did I loose my virginity to some random guy . I need to check .
