*Bridget's POV*
I hung up my last poster and flopped down onto my bed, sighing. I had spent the last three days setting up my room in the new house. I had to admit, it was a really nice house, or at least nicer than the one in Jersey.
Tomorrow would be my first day at Mountain Lakes High School, and I was looking forward to it. I mean, new people to piss off? That sounds great. For the first time in a long time, I was actually excited to go to school. This school contains about a few hundred students, which is a very small amount, so getting in trouble would be very easy given the attention would be on me for the first few days. Hell, I haven't even started and people already stare at me when I go outside. Maybe it's just my extremely dark clothing and heavy eye makeup? Whatever it was, people noticed me.
I looked at the time on the digital clock across the room and it read 11:52. Already? I got up and shut the lights off, leaving my room covered in a cloak of darkness, and went to sleep.*Ronnie's POV*
"Catch!" Someone shouted from down the hall and I quickly turned to catch the flying basketball.
"Ashburn!" Shouted my friend Calum as he threw his arm around me. I threw the ball back to its owner and walked to my locker. "So I heard the new girl is showing up today."
"Back off, I called dibs," I glared.
"Don't worry, she'll want me anyways," he winked and I shoved him away, chuckling.
"The new ones always fall the quickest."
"Well I heard she's pretty hot, so you're gonna have competition."
"Competition? Please," I scoffed. Calum shrugged and walked away. I followed him to our first period history class.
Once inside the classroom I scanned the area for someone new, but the usual familiar faces surrounded me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone approach me.
"Hey baby," said the petite blonde.
"Hey... um..."
"Destiny!" She shrieked.
"Right."
"Friday was great, wasn't it?" She pressed her boobs against my arm and I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah," I said, walking to a seat in the back. I glared at some kid sitting there and he quickly got up to get another seat. I shook my head, smirking, and sat down.
"Wow, you're such a badass. Everyone is so scared of you," she giggled.
"Yep."
"So, how about tonight you come over and-"
"Everyone in seats!" Shouted Mr. Blair from the door. "That means you, Destiny." She rolled her eyes and stroked stroked my arm as she walked away to sit three seats ahead of me. "How nice of you to join us, Mr. Ashburn."
"What can I say? I'm feeling generous today," I smirked. He shook his head and began writing the lesson plans on the board while everyone took their pens and notebooks out of their bags. I reached in my bag and grabbed my iPod and headphones. Just as I was about to put one headphone in, someone came walking through the door. That someone was a she.
She had wavy, raven black hair up to her elbows and an ass to die for. She was wearing blue acid wash jeans with black Vans and a Misfits shirt with an unbuttoned red plaid shirt on top. She was fucking hot.
"Ms. Chandler, late on your first day, I see," said Mr. Blair.
"I got lost," she blatantly said. I could hear the arrogance in her voice.
"Well, I'll give you a break because it's your first day, but I expect you to be on time like everyone else. Please, have a seat." She nodded and turned around, facing the class. Now I could see her face perfectly. She had on heavy eyeliner surrounding her ice blue eyes and a nose ring. Her arched eyebrows made her look, in a way, badass. She was fucking perfect.
Her eyes scanned the room and I realized there were no empty seats in the class. I kicked the kid next to me and he fell off his chair, and I motioned for her to sit there. She raised an eyebrow and chuckled before walking over and sitting there. The kid stood up and took his stuff, only to sit on the floor to take notes.
"I'm Ronnie," I said, looking straight at her. She tapped on her desk with her long, sharp nails, then she turned to me, looked me up and down, before saying,
"Bridget." I smiled and put in my headphones, blasting the music.
I saw her take out a notebook and take notes down from the board and raised an eyebrow. A nerd? She can't be. Whatever, she's hot. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
"Dude!" Someone shouted. I lifted my head up and rubbed my eyes.
"What?"
"Class is over, let's go." I looked up at Calum and rolled my eyes. As I stood up, I realized something; I didn't have my headphones. My iPod was flat on the desk but my headphones were nowhere to be seen. Fuck. "Let's go!"
"Shut up, alright. Did you take my headphones?"
"No..."
"Fuck!" I shouted. I took my iPod and slid it in my pocket, then grabbed my bookbag and walked out. With so many people in the hall I looked around to see if anyone had my headphones. No luck.
"Lost your headphones?" Asked Calum. I nodded. "Dumbass."*********************************
I pushed the double doors into the cafeteria and made my way to the table in the back corner. Throwing my bag on the ground, I slumped down onto a chair. Perfume filled the air and Destiny sat next to me.
"How was your morning?" I rolled my eyes.
"I told you, it was over. I just wanted to get in your pants, now scram," I said.
"But you told me I was special!" She cried.
"You're just like every other goddamn girl in this school," I scoffed.
I stared at the doorway until a certain person passed through. When she did, I stood up and made my way towards her. "Bridget."
"Ashton, was it?" She said.
"Ronnie," I corrected. She smirked. "Wanna join my table for lunch?"
"What makes you think I wanna sit with you?"
"Who doesn't?" She rolled her eyes and walked past me. I sighed, watching her leave. I stared at her hair until I realized something. The bitch had my headphones on. I walked towards her wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her backwards. She kicked me repeatedly and I let go when she elbowed me in my rib cage. "Ah, shit!"
"The fuck are you doing?!" She shouted, her icy eyes turning darker.
"You have something that belongs to me," I said.
"Oh, these?" She pulled out the headphones and handed them over to me. "They're not that great anyways. Take better care of your stuff, why don't ya?" She winked and walked away. I chuckled and put my hands in my pockets, and something was missing. Fuck, my wallet. I turned around and saw her waving it in the air above her.*Bridget's POV*
He snatched the wallet from my hand and I kept walking to the empty table by the garbage. Once I sat down, I turned to see some people staring at me, but ignored them and saw Ronnie at his table. He had some chick all over him, but he was ignoring her, though she looked like she was going to burst into tears. I rolled my eyes at that and figured it was his girlfriend. She was probably begging for him to stay with her, which I don't blame her for, since he's pretty hot. With his light brown hair, green eyes, and toned body, he could do me any day. I saw him checking me out along with all the other guys in first period, but I ignored it since I knew he just wanted to get in my pants. Normally, I would be up for a casual fuck, but I knew he wanted it badly, so I'll make him work for it. I mean, or else there'd be no fun in it, right?
