I am not the voice of a generation
I am the voice of one person
That doesn't mean what I say ain't the truth
Depending on your opinion
But I don't hand out little pieces of wisdom like candy cause it ain't Halloween and I ain't your neighbor Mrs.Rogers handin out Jolly Ranchers while saying to the kids think through your choices
I am not a generation
I am one person
A generation would be all of us coming together
Although Iam strong I am not strong enough to hold the weight of the world on my shoulders
My body is weak on its own
But joining forces can make us all strong
Etching a place in history where we belong
All of us humming a melody separately till we are singing one song.
I am not the generation
We are the generation
We are the people
We create the wisdom
We crete the strength
We create the power
Power to change what is into a once was
And a what will be into we currently see
The last generation will be proud of what we've done
And the next generation will think all the battles worth fighting will already been won
So I say again
I am not the voice of a generation
I am the voice of one person
