Arthus was meditating again, this time with Orthoro his, new, general.
Dark matter consumed him in his astral projection. Dark matter was his companion, his wisdom, his strength. It's power was infinite and he could only tap the surface, it's full potential wasted. Arthus knew he wouldn't be able to control it not even with all his strength. Dark matter was pure energy and too much of it would certainly kill him but that didn't stop him from pushing his limit. He needed to be strong he needed to be able to destroy the virus that was the human race. He needs his revenge, he needs to do this for his family and for Ulathur and the only thing in the universe to help him seemed to be dark matter. His farther warned him of it, he told him what it could do to a being like him, the awful things it could do to ones mind. So he had to keep his mind sharp he needed to flush out the voices, the voices that spoke in the ancient tongue but Arthus could hear them clear as day. They where warning him, urging him to stop his dance with darkness...
A frown crept on Arthus' face.
Stop
They where back.
Arthus
No he had to keep them out.
Why have you forsaken us.
He has to focus.
A saviour shall rise
They're too many.
A saviour shall defeat you
He needs to return to the land of the living.
You're not strong enough, death shall come for you. Run Arthus!
You're not strong enough!
This power is too much!
Arthus!
Run! Run! Run!
His eyes bursted open and they where met with Orthoro's eyes staring right back at him, her soathing eyes calmed him down.
His black veins receded.
"You where doing it again Arthus." She said her voice filled with sadness as she hovered down.
"I'm sorry my lu'shesa, the voices...they torment me." He said as he clenched his fists making the ship shake again.
"It's ok, it's ok." She said as she soothed him.
"I don't know what I'd-" Arthus is cut short as a ripple of energy hit him...aswell as Orthoro.
"D-Did you feel that?" He asked as it sent goosebumps down his body, Arthus looked at his skin as it cowered at the energy. This enraged him.
"My lord this could be what the voices where warning you about, someone who would rise up agaisnt you..."
"Prepare the dark matter chamber, " he said as he summoned his blood sword to him, "and prepare my armour."
