We all left Lel's house due to complications. So we all came to my house. It doesn't have a big secret hideout or whatever but I don't need one, I got my room. My dad is gone, his doing some work at the U.N.I. City 3 dome and my mom is in a psychiatric hospital. So I practically have the whole house to myself if you minus the Tier Rangers.
"Play the dang thing already." Cero say hopping around the place.
"Ok, ok." I say as my finger hovers around the play button on the voice recorder.
"Let's first make a trust oath." Barbella says saving me. I let out a relaxed breath.
"Definitely." Preston agrees. Preston joined us after we made a few calls asking where he was, he said he just wanted to take a break from all this hacking stuff for a while.
I obviously didn't believe him but his here, we all are, well besides Lel, and that's all that matters.
We all gather together and make a circle.
"We all promise that whatever we hear now will not effect our friendship and that we will and forevermore stay the best of friends." Barbella says. We all repeat after her.
"Ok let's do this." Aries says a little nervous. I then take out the voice recorder that we transferred the recording to. My finger hovers around the play button I'm inches away from pressing it...
"I can't." I say breathing out. Everyone sighs.
"For goodness sakes...let me do it." Edrric says pressing play.
The recording plays there's nothing for quite some time. After a while we hear it it's a weird sound that consists of high pitch clicks and whistles.
"This is General Derek Stage." A strong husky voice finally says. A voice we know all know too well...Eddric and Preston's father.
We all glance at Eddric and Preston. They look just as surprised as us. Although he is U.N.I.'s general, it's still weird to hear him like this.
"Reporting in at approximately nineteen hundred hours the year, twenty ninety nine the date, January third. The so called creature presumed to be a Metamorphian from the planet Nato..."
Metamorphian? Planet Nato?
" ...has once again tried to contact us sending inaudible noises. This signal can only be picked up by a radio frequency, hundred and three hertz..."
I quickly write the radio frequency down.
"I have filed in my report about the Anomaly Case. I have sent men down to the location and they report back saying, there is no sign of the Metamorphian.We have our speculations that the signal is coming from deep space. The remnants of planet Nato have entered our solar system as more and more Metamorphian blue rocks have been hitting the wastelands in sector A.A.U. I have then bypassed the Supreme Court and have initiated project Meta.
Project Meta?...what the...
**END OF TRANSMISSION**
My head starts spinning. I feel like I'm in a movie, with all these conspiracies, secrets and not to mention finding out there's something lurking in the wastelands besides dystopian humans. Thinking about it sends a chill down my spin.
This means if Eddric and Preston's father has been hiding secrets this means all our parents could be hiding deep stuff to but I just can't get that word he said out of my mind.
Metamorphian
But why would this thing want to communicate with us?
"Guys..." Barbella says breaking the silence. "I don't think I like hacking." She says holding onto Aries as she buries her face in Aries' chest as tears roll down her face.
"If we don't...who will." I say standing up looking down at them. They all stare at me fear stricken. I have to lead them, I have to bring the Supreme Council down, we have to defeat our parents, we have to save the world from ourselves.
I take out my note pad, looking at the numbers.
Let the hunt begin

The showdown is far from close but each clue is a step closer to the ultimate secret that has been kept from humanity for too long.
