This is a poem for the broken hearted,

For when we've undone what we've started,
Oh mirror on the wall...
Please tell me the truth, when will be my last fall?
I broke a heart again,
And with that comes my pain,
Forgive me not for I have done it again...
Under these eyes lies one million cries
Of pain and emotions,
Tears that drip from under my chin,
Onto a ground laid with sin,
Oh unwrap my silk of knots and fears,
If it doesn't soak you in my tears,
Because I've used every cloth I've had
to soak up the pain for when I'm sad...
Oh this smile may be beautiful,
but I can assure you its not permanent
Because lying deep underneath is my real face,
covered in a fragile glass vase,
So no one can hear me when I scream and cry,
When will I drown?
and with my last breath comes one last cry,
Breaking this vase and releasing the lies,
But these are just emotions,
And I'll keep my perseverance to face the next day,
Telling myself that I'm strong enough and that its only a little more pain,
Oh but late at night, the depression slips in
Through my gaping cracks,
from when I've been shattered once again...
It sneaks in again and again, when I am vulnerable, everyday...
So I've done it again...
Broken heart to feel this pain,
And each time its multiplied,
Just like the lies that are told from smile to smile,
But we all know that those smiles are lies...
We never remember a broken heart because a heart is still broken long after it has fought...
