You are a rose in an ocean of twigs
🌹

Dear woman,
Dear beauty,
Dear Goddess...
I could describe you with every magnificent word but you could not care to notice me,
Cast me out to the shadows to lay my unworthy eyes upon your spotlight,
To be forced to love you from a distance.
I could compare your eyes to the universe of stars at night,
You would not care for me.
I could compare your silky locks to the blinding rays of the sun,
And you still would not love me.
I could tell you that your lips look as soft as snow falls in winter,
But after all this you still would not be interested in me.
I could change myself for you,
I could follow you,
I could whisper your name just to see if you'd hear me,
but you still would not notice me.

It is okay you do not love me,
It will hurt me,
But I would never force anything so beautiful to love something it does not desire.
