Ain't thinking about you - Chris Brown

"Why, hello." Zayn removes his black sunglasses, leaning on the driving seat, as I'm standing next to his car. My arms are folded, one eyebrow raised, Zayn gesturing for me to hop on.
"Just cut it out Zayn, what did you want to talk about?" I hiss, climbing into his passenger seat. His car smells awfully like a new car. I wonder where he gets all this money. Now that I think of it, he really seems to be a lot richer than the other students in my school.
"I know you've been crying," he ignores my question, starting the engine and gets on the road.
"How can you tell?" I finally cave in, not having any energy to lie. I really am fed up with my own lies.
"Your makeup is ruined." I roll my eyes at him and quickly look at myself from the small mirror.
Not just my makeup, but I, myself was also ruined.
"Now, I'm all ears. Tell me why you cried?" he asks me, tightly gripping the steering wheel.
"It's complicated." I look at him from the corner of my eye. He really seems to be dwelling in his thoughts, I grasp his sleeve and his eyes slowly travel to meet mine.
"Oh, yeah. So, remember when I gave you that necklace?" Zayn begins to explain, his mesmerizing hazel eyes locked to mine as we stop at a red light.
I nod and purse my lips, thinking about where he is going with this.
"Lilly, we didn't get to know each others at school. You gave it to me when we were little. I know that you don't remember, because- " he stops mid-sentence, biting his lips,"never mind."
"What? Tell me!"
"Listen," he sighs heavily.
"Long story short, I've known you since you were little, well more specifically our families been close since forever." He blurts out, a little forced smile plastered on his face.
What.
"And? Was that all you wanted to talk about?"
"No. It's something more serious. You're really going to hate me for it."
"Like I already don't hate you," I joke.
"Ha-ha."
"But, seriously. I need you answer to my following question honestly," he says, glancing at me few times, still trying to concentrate on the road. "Do you and Harry have something going on between you two?"
Do we?
I don't think after today.
"No," I reply, strictly. He doesn't answer me as we pull up at a unfamiliar park.
"It's because that I can actually talk to you without being distracted," he turns his pelvis towards me, answering my thoughts. Few people passing by us, gives us strange looks.
Trying to get my mind off of them, I nod, letting him continue his speech.
"Are you sure? Because what I'm going to tell you isn't really good news."
"It isn't good news?" I repeat his last sentence, grabbing my necklace between my forefinger and thumb, nervously moving my pendant.
"It could tear you apart." He admits, eyes resting on mine.
