HARRY'S POV

I'm holding her hand tightly as if I'm afraid, she might run away from me, again. I don't know where I'm going, all I know is I want to be alone with her and for once nobody trying to come between us.

"I have my own car." She refuses to climb into my car as I gesture here to do so.

"Just go." I command her, which seemed to work, since she quickly makes her way into my car, making a little smile form on my lips.

"Where are we going?" She asks, pouting her lips and avoiding my eye contact.

"You'll see." I tease her, clearly she isn't amused by it, judging from the way she's furrowing her eyebrows.

While I'm driving, I sneak my hand on her thigh, assuring her that she's safe. First I thought she'd decline it, but she didn't seem to mind at all that my hand is lying there.

She said I was breaking her heart, which obviously meant that she has feelings for me and seeing me with Jess caused it. I hate myself for being with Jess, but what can I do? I promised her that I would take care of her and the child.

It was my own stupid mistake and here I am paying for it, not being able to be with the woman I love.

Yes, nothing less than love.

It has come to the point where my feelings couldn't get anymore stronger than this, and I'm afraid if I told her, she'd run away even faster than she tried today.

"Are you hungry?" I ask her while I stop for the redlight, this traffic is killing me.

"Hungry? So, what you kidnapped me so that you could feed me?" She snaps at me and looks out of the window, flipping her hair in annoyance.

"I didn't kidnap you" I fire back at her.

"Did too!"

"Did not."

"Yeah, you did!"

She seemed to be even more upset with me than usually, maybe she has her monthly issues..?

"Are you on your pms or something?" I ask her before I can stop myself.

"What?" She looks at me with confusion and looks like she wouldn't mind tearing my head off right now.

"Don't assume things." Her jaw clenches as she utter.

"I wasn't assuming, I just-"

"Just don't okay. Just because I'm angry and acting like this, doesn't mean I'm on my 'you know what'." She cuts me off and rolls her pretty brown eyes, while blushing. She sounds so cute when she can't even say the word period, but still acts like she's though.

She cuts me off again when I try to speak.

"And, if I see you sleeping, I don't just assume that you're dead, it's the same thing, So please, do not assume!" She says, holding one finger in the air and finally breathes some air into her lunges.

"Wow, I didn't know you could use the word 'assume' so many times in one sentence" I mutter and try hard not to laugh at her.

She scowls at me and refuses to answer me back.

Thanks to my teasing, rest of our drive goes by us not talking to each others.

"We're here." I inform her, only to be answered by silence.

"Lilly!" I look to my right and see that she has fallen asleep.

"Lilly." I whisper and poke my finger lightly on her shoulder, not wanting to hurt her.
