I take Jessie's hand and burst out of the gym.
Who does he thinks he is?
" Lilly, wait. You're hurting my hand" Jess pulls her hand away from mine and points down to our lockers.
"Oh, sorry. I'm just so full of assholes like him." I try to apologize while trying to keep up with her pace.
"He was just being rude, because you were mean. But it's weird that he said that. I mean you're everybody's type" she says, eyes trailing from the locker to me.
"Well, I don't care. He's just like the rest" I roll my eyes as I see Jessie's sad face, a frown forming on her forhead.
She seems to really like this curly headed boy. I have to admit it, It's obvious that he may have an charming aspect, but you should always fear the good looking ones.
They're not always what they seem to be, looks can be really deceiving.
" I'm heading home" I mutter, fluttering my eyes close, while I'm nibbing my thumbnail anxiously.
It's something I tend do when I get nervous.
I don't know why his words 'you're not even my type' keep running through my head. I haven't ever heard that coming from anyone's mouth.
" Okay, call me later, so we can go to the mall. You do remember that you promised to go with me?" Jess reminds me, locking her eyes with mine.
Shit, I forgot about it.
" Yes of course, I remember, silly." I say, hoping that she won't see through my lie.
I wave her goodbye and walk towards outdoors.
It's only 12 p.m and I'm already heading home. I don't know why but I feel exhausted.
Maybe, working out in school isn't such a good idea?
While I drive to my usual parking lot in, front of my home, I feel my phone vibrating. I reach for my pocket, taking the phone out.
A text from Niall.
This can't be good.
*I had fun yesterday, again tomorrow?* (Today, 12.15)
I cringe at the text on my phone's screen, almost feeling pity for the boy waiting for my reply. But, It's useless to feel bad about someone, especially guys.
They all just have one thing on their mind and we all know what.
I tap the steering wheel continually, trying to come up with an excuse to not go on another date with him.
* I Can't, I have guests coming tomorrow* (Today, 12.20)
Why the hell did I send that. Guests? I'm so bad at making excuses.
* Okay * Is all that he sent back to me.
Guess he got the idea that I won't be seeing him anymore.
I pass our gate, taking steps through our garden.
I knock on the door and our house maid, Mary opens the door.
She's been our house maid since I was born. I don't even consider her as our maid, but as a good friend. You won't ever find someone as sweet and sympathic as her.
"Hello Miss Liliya, It's so early, how did you come home so soon?" She takes a hold of my hand, confused.
You know the usual, skipped school.
" The teacher didn't show up" I take my shoes off and toss my bag to the side, not caring about the mess I cause.
" Where's my mother?" I question her, already knowing the answer.
