What’s The Point?
Chapter 16
‘Cut deep and hit a vein, please. Freak.’
Tony felt his breath get caught in his throat as he looked frantically around. Nobody was looking at him, or even glancing in his direction. He knew somebody would find out! He felt people staring at him. He felt like the walls were closing in on him. He had to get out of here. He shoved the knife and note in his pocket and made his way quickly into the mens room and into a stall. He locked the door and pulled out the note and knife. He read the note over and over again.
‘Cut deep…’
‘Freak.’
‘Hit a vein…’
His breathing sped up and he could no longer control the urge. He yanked his shirt sleeve up, and using the pocket knife, he cut once, twice, tree times at his wrist. He felt the pressure leave his body as he saw blood leave his body and drip onto the floor. It wasn’t until he dropped the knife onto the cold floor, that he realised what he had done.
‘Gibbs is gonna kill me!’ he immediately thought. ‘I can’t tell him. He’ll be disappointed in me, and ashamed of me.’ He decided, as he grabbed some toilet roll and applied pressure to the wound.

Gibbs walked into Abby’s lab, and went straight to the stereo where her music was blasting out of. Abby turned, ready to shout at whoever turned her beloved music off, but smiled when she saw her visitor.
“Gibbs!” she ran to him and gave him a strong hug. Gibbs pried her off him.
“Hey, Abbs.” He kissed her cheek.
“Where’s Tony? I haven’t seen him in weeks!” she pouted.
“He’ll be down soon.”
“How’s he doing?” she asked. She didn’t know the full story, all she knew was that Tony was living with because he was having a hard time, and couldn’t handle some stuff by himself.
“He’s doing better than he was.” Gibbs told her. “Still some stuff to get through.” Abby rested her head on the older man’s shoulder. He pulled her close.
“He’s gonna be okay, right?”
“Yeah, he’s gonna be okay. Tony’s strong, Abbs.” At that moment, they heard the elevator ding, and Tony made his appearance in the lab.
“Hi, Abby.” He said quietly, being the real Tony DiNozzo, which Abby didn’t see that often.
“Tonyboy!” Abby pulled him into a strong, but gentle hug. “I’ve missed you!” she told him, as she pulled away. Tony smiled.
“I’ve missed you too, Abbs.” Abby placed her hand in his.
“So?” she asked, grinning. “What’s it like living with my Silver Fox?”
“Abby.” Gibbs growled, but he was trying to hide a smile.
“He makes me wait on him hand and foot! Locks me in the attic until he needs me!” Tony pretended to sob. “You gotta save me Abby! I need natural lighting!” he tried to hide his grin when a hand connected with his head. “See! He hits me! Beats me senseless whenever I do something wrong!” he burst out laughing when he saw the look on Gibbs’ face. Abby punched his arm.
“Tony!” she scolded. He just grinned.
“What? Just telling the truth! Nah, it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. Still can’t get him to drink real coffee though.”
