A few more tears escape from me but I dry them off. At least, I wasn't crying desperately like last night anymore. Last night was a completely different thing, different because I was angry. Last time, I cried with anger and pain. This time I was just sad. I was sad because for more that me and Steve were in a complicated place in our relationship, I still like him very much and if someday I told someone I never had good memories with him you can be sure I would be lying. But now it's over. All that we had ended. I'm not saying I thought I was going to marry him. I knew someday we would end this. But I also knew it was going to be hard. I was right.
Someone knocks on my door and it opens right after. My mom slowly walks in my room.
"Sweet heart?" She says softly, "Are you okay?". She looks worried.
"Yeah mom." I say half-honestly.
"Okay, if you need anything just call." She says comforting me. I smile thankful.
"Thank you, mom."
She leaves the room. I lay back on the bed and groan. Why is this so hard? Why can't I simply forget him? I just want him to leave my head!
"Darling?" My mom calls from downstairs.
I groan lazily. "Yeah?"
"You have a visitor." She says.
I raise my eyebrow and lift my body up, curious. A visitor? But I didn't call anyone.
I hear steps up the stairs and my door opens up, revealing my best friend of all times, Ms. Jenna Perkins.
I smile when she enters my room. She looks at me and frowns.
"You look like a mess, Crystal." She says, getting closer to my bed. Well that was honest.
"I feel like a mess." I reply honestly. She looks at my with sympathy.
"Is it over?" She asks, though I have a feeling she knows the answer.
I nod once, thinking it was enough, and she looks down.
"I'm sorry babe." She says. I shake my head and sigh.
"It's okay I guess, it wasn't really working out well." I say back.
She shakes her head comprehensively and then a smile appears on her face.
"Well! I have good news at least." She says excited, "After you vanished away from school today a very special someone looked for me to ask if you were okay." She starts playing with both eyebrows, lifting them up and down.
No, it isin't, it couldn't be-
"Looks like Nash Grier has a crush on you!" She exclaims with a squeal.
I laugh at her idea. "Crush?" I joke, "no way! We're just friends." I tell her with confidence, discarding the thought.
"Then why did he ask me for your number?" She asks me with a smirk. My jaw opens and I jump up on the bed.
"Oh god Jenna, please tell me you didn't!" I plead in disbelief. She bursts out in a fit of laughter.
"Oh boy I did." She says. I begin to attack her, punching her playfully. She couldn't stop laughing.
"I hate you!" I yell laughing along.
"You love me!" She shouts back.
"True, but I still can't believe you did it."
She looks at me suspiciously. "C'mon, don't deny, you liked it!" She says, "Why wouldn't you? He's hot!".
That sassy little girl, I truly can't believe her. "Jenna I just broke up with my three months boyfriend!" I choke, "and he's famous, I would never date a celebrity."
