A/N: So I feel like this story is just all over the place. I'm going to try and fix that, so enjoy the chapter!:
Chapter 13:
THIRD PERSON POV
"Mom! Mom, please stop crying! Please?" Percy begged. He felt awful for making his mom cry and feel this way. Percy thought about how he got in this situation.
24 Hours Earlier....
"Mom, would it be okay if we stayed one more day? I still have to say bye to people before we leave?" Percy asked warily, afraid of hurting his mom.
"Sure honey, that's okay because I was gonna ask the same thing. Melissa and I have a lot to catch up on." Sally winked.
"Great! Well I'll see you later, mom!" Percy said as he walked out the door.
~~~~~~
DING-DONG! The doorbell dinged.
"Hi? Who are you?" Scott asked answering the door.
"Uhh... Annabeth. Percy told me before he left he'd be staying here?" She said more like a question.
"Yeah, I'm not sure where he is right now though. Oh, I'm Scott." He reached his hand out for her to shake and she shook. "Come on in." Scott offered.
"Sure thanks." She faked a smile.
They took seats on the couch. Scott slouched to where he was comfortable. Annabeth sat there poised and awkwardly. "So.. How long have you known Percy?" Scott asked breaking the silence.
"Umm.. Since we were twelve."Annabeth answered. "You?"
"Since I was born I guess. But he disappeared when I was nine." Scott answered cooly.
"Oh. Cool." Annabeth replied. "So. Do you have any idea when Percy will be here? I can always leave and come back."
"No I don't know when, sorry." Scott apologized.
"I'll just come back later." Annabeth said hurriedly. You see, her demigod senses were going off. She could almost see that Scott wasn't normal. She didn't want to be here alone incase anything happened to her. She stood up from her spot on the couch and walked towards the door.
As soon as she opened the door, there was someone else about to walk in. She jumped with delight and threw her arms around the one she loved. Percy. "Percy! Thank gods!" She surprised kissed him on the lips.
"Hey Wise Girl! What are you doing here? Not that I'm complaining." Percy pulled away from the kiss to ask. Annabeth jumped on Percy, wrapping her legs around his hips. He put is arms under her bottom to help support her/ to keep her from falling to the ground.
He walked inside, closing the door behind him. Annabeth replied," I thought I'd come see you!" She then continued to put her head on his shoulders.
"Hey, Scott!" Percy greeted. Scott waved in response.
~•••~
The rest of the day, Percy spent it with Annabeth, Scott, and Stiles. Just hanging out and having fun. He thought if he didn't leave, it could be like this on a regular basis. Then he remembered his mom. He couldn't just send her home, she would be a worrying mess.
Right now he lies in bed (he took Issac's old room), Annabeth resting her head on his chest while he plays with her golden curls.
"What's the matter?" She asks.
"Nothing. I'm just thinking." He replies.
"Well don't hurt yourself." Annabeth smirks.
He kisses her forehead,"I'll try not to."
