I just glare out the window, not uttering a word.
I think that's what I'm going to do, the silent treatment. I've heard somewhere that it's the most annoying thing for a guy to experience. So, probably it'll be extremely hard for my so called soul-mate.
The car moves forward in a fast pace, running over bumps and gravel in the process.
Since I apparently can't hear the guys in the front talking when they talk with each other using their wolves, I now know exactly what's up by now.
I'm going to be driven to the so called 'Pack House', where I'll be locked up inside a room. Then, Luke'll have short and regular talks with me, every half an hour or so.
I even know what he's going to talk about me with, as that's all he talked about at dinner yesterday. I can expect stories about his family, the mate bond and all that stuff since he can't put a finger on what I am.
Though, I already know all those stories, since his friends are talking about them. So, with them as source, Luke's mum was the same as me, a so called 'run-away:er'. Luke's father chased after her for weeks, if not months, and with the method I'm going to sit through with the small talks, his dad broke the girl's hard shell in hours.
So, I'm going to be a small bump.
Yeah, he wish.
At least I get to know what Luke's wolf-buddy's name is.
Emight.
I kind of like it.
I see the trees pass in a slower and slower pace, and I realise we're closing to our destination.
The car pulls to a complete stop and outside the window there's a field. The passenger who's wolf spoke to me earlier get out and open the car door for me. His blonde hair is covering his eyes and he constantly flicks with his head to be able to see anything through it.
I get out and take a look at the place I've been taken to.As I saw through the window it's a field, crowded with what I expect are werewolves. In the middle, and right in front of the car, stands a house. I assume it's the so called 'Pack-House'.
Even if there's a lot of people here, barley anyone is talking or playing. They're all on high alarm if I would try to escape.
What they don't get though, is that if I would escape, I would just shift into a raven and fly out of here. They wouldn't be able to catch me even if they tried.
Ah, they're so silly.
But they don't have to worry, I won't. Not now at least. Because, I kind of look forward to the talks I'm going to have with Luke.
I think I'll skip the silent treatment and give him a little mind game.
It'll get to have a lot more fun.
And, if I decide to escape, the werewolves would most likely kidnap me again to know what the hell I am, and I would be breaking the golden Guardian rule; don't show or tell anyone who you are.
I've experienced that rule with mum and dad, and it's nothing I'd like to do again.
The smell of the field and its surrounding forest gives it away. I know the forest like the back of my palm and I smell oak and pine tree, so we're obviously in the west part of the forest. Not that deep in, long enough to not hear any traffic, but not long enough to hear the water.
This is the part of he forest Lucy says she guards, so I don't have to take as much responsibility when I still have school to take care of.
Now I know the real reason to why I didn't guard this part.
