The Impures

chapter 4

Raven's eyes began to open as she started to regain conciseness, first feeling the strain on her arms as she hung there with the other titans, secondly she noticed Damian standing in a readied stance with his sword drawn as he talk with a strange woman draped in a dark brown clock with jet black hair that went down to her shoulders "I must say I'm surprised that your alive even after hearing about what happened between you and my mother, Auntie" Damian said in a flat, unimpressed tone.

"wait, auntie" Raven though, wondering what was going on, but once she caught sight of Grodd, it all came rushing back, the mission, Gorilla Grodd, Damian going a-wall, Donna and Garfield getting caught and faintly hearing something about someone's return as she was fading in and out of conciseness.

Nyssa looked up at Raven and the others as they all started to awake, dazed and confused "ah good now we have an audience" Nyssa smiled, making her way over to Grodd "prepare Hells Gate." She said as Grodd called over two of his men with a wave of his hand who brought a large chrome box to him.

"Damian what's going on?" Nightwing called to Damian who didn't reply and instead just watched as Grodd's men opened the chrome box, pulling out what looked to be an Apocalypse fusion cell with enough energy to power all of Metropolis for a year or level it and most of the country. Damian was about to make a move when he noticed a red lesser pointer traced over the R on his uniform, "ah ah ah I wouldn't try that if I were you my Dear Nephew." Nyssa commented, shaking her finger.

The two men loaded the fusion cell into a hole on the side of the machine as it came it life, Grodd went over to a control panel and started typing in commands. The machines ring began to spinning as it got faster and faster "woah what is that thing?" Beast boy said, watching the Hells Gate machine as the ring got up to speed.

"Your Grandfather, my father was a great man Damian, he gave the Al ghul's the gift of immortality and was going to bring order to this world, but he was taken from us and what do you do, go and play Robin with the Bat and your little hero friends!" Nyssa explained as she looked up at titans and then back to Damian "well I think its about time you get pulled back in line." She finished as she nodded to Grod who pulled a lever on the control panel he was at.

Suddenly the purple glowing liquid got sucked down out of the tank and into the machine as it began glowing. The lights in the ware house started to flicker as a purple portal opened inside the spinning ring, everyone had a shocked look on their faces as Nyssa began to shout "NOW, COME FORWORD FATHER, RETURN TO THE LIVING FROM THE DEPTS OF HELL TO PROCLAIM YOUR THRONE AS THE RULER OF MOTHER EARTH." Then to everybody's surprise, someone began to step though portal. Damian watched in disbelief as he watched his Grandfather, Ra's al guhl now stood less then 10 meters away from him.

Everyone looked at Ra's as he made his way over to his daughter Nyssa "who's the old guy?" Donna asked, genuinely not knowing who he was. "ahhh it feels so good to be alive again!" Ra's remarked as he did some light stretching with his shoulder "its good to see you too father." Nyssa said sarcastically as two league of assassin's members put Ra's black robe over his shoulders "now don't be like that Nyssa, remember we have guests." He returned as he made his way over to Robin "ah Damian my boy, I must say I am quite disappointed in you, turning against me, the league and your mother to go and play dress up with the Batman! I really did expect more from you, but yet again you are just a child." Frowning at Damian with disapproval.

"how are you even here?" Damian returned, confused and angry "ahh straight to details I see, well after our little fight in hell were you chose you 'friends' over the league I decided something had to be done about it, so I contacted Nyssa the only way I could, though her dreams using complex dark magic, once I told her what she needed to do she got our ape genius friend over here to build The hells gate device with some help from Dark side of course." He pursed and began to make his way over to the machine again.

"with Gorilla Grodds knowledge, Dark sides Apocalyptic technology and my planning we were able to create an interdimensional boom-tub to travel between dimensions! And now that I've returned its time to start phase two." Looking back to Damian "which is?" he asked, itching to attack but not wanting to make this situation worse than it already is.

"How have you been sleeping Damian, or should I say 'IMPURE'" and with that Damian stood up straight as he fell into a hypnotic state. "you see, those 'nightmare's' you've been having, weren't nightmare's but subconscious brain washing so with one word, you're under my full control." Ra's finished as he smirked. Raven watched as Damian just stood there, not even blinking "is Damian gone?" she asked herself as she felt that tug in her chest again. "release them!" Nyssa commanded to Grodds solders as she pointed to the Teen Titans.

Dropping to the ground below, everyone except Beast boy landed on their feet, getting up they got into battle stance's ready for anything. Ra's al guhl had a grin on his face as he pointed to the Titans and said one word "Kill! "and with that Damian was off, charging at his team mates with his Katana in both his hands to the side as he ran. Shocked at what they were seeing they hesitated for a split second before engaging in battle with Damian who had jumped over Wonder girl, doing a flip mid air he landed, kicking Beast boy in the gut as he went flying back. Damian then did a barrel roll as he dodged a shot from Blue Beatle, throwing an explosive batarang into the barrel of his cannon as it blows up in his face. Damian swage around to kick Nightwing in the face but was blocked, quickly thinking Damian jumped with his one foot still on the ground, using it he landed a kick to Dicks head knocking him down, regaining himself Robin went on the attack cutting Donna on the arm as he swept her legs out from under her in the progress, getting ready to stab her while she was on the ground Raven used her powers to grab Damian's hands, pulling him into the air away from Wonder girl.

Flying up into the air towards raven, the son of batman pulled two explosive batarangs out as he though them at Raven, exploding in front of her she went hurtling towards the ground getting winded as she hit. Landing back on the ground, robin dodged an attack from Star fire's staff, rolling out of the way, he them engaged in one on one combat with Kori as they throw blows towards each over, each blocking the others attack until Damian caught her off guard and kicked her in the throat. Blacking out instantly Kori fell to the floor, seeing this Nightwing charged at Damian, robin blocked the attack and cut Nightwing across the face then finishing him by kicking him in the chest with a massive amount of force probably backing some ribs.

Finally turning to throw a hand full of explosive batarangs at Donna who had gotten up and was charging at him, flying back and falling unconscious. Blue Beatle got up and saw that they were losing to a 14-year-old brat, Jamie got up to fire his arm cannons at Damian again but he saw this and though a sound wave batarang at Blue Beatle which went of and turned blue Beatles scarab off again, knocking him out in the progress.

Scanning the room to see if anyone still stood Robin saw Raven looking at him scared, he began making his way over to her getting closer with each step, he now stood just in front of her pulling his sword above his head "Damian" Raven wisped before he began to swing down until Raven heard a window smash as a black figure fly kicked Damian mid swing sending him hurtling across the room.
