Damian stumbled into his room clenching is side in pain, quickly he started pulling off pieces of is uniform until he was left in just his pants and boots. Looking down to the area he was holding he found a massive black and purple bruise running up his side, examining the damaged he was able to diagnose himself with three broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder that would have to be moved back into place before it started healing. To the average person, this would require proper medical attention but luckily for Damian he was the son of Batman and the heir to the Al guhl's, so he was trained to deal with saturation's like this.

Walking into the bathroom conjoined to his bedroom, turning the bright yellow light on he began rummaging through the medicine cabinet pulling out a small red bag with a white cross stitched to the front. Making his way back into his bedroom he placed the bag on his bed before leaned against one of the walls in his room, taking a few deep breaths before lifting his bad arm above his head with some effort, taking one last deep breath before swiftly shifting his bad shoulder back snapping his shoulder back into place. Damian let out a sharp cry as he steeled himself against the wall again. After taking a moment to rest he walked over to his bed still holding his arm as not to put too much strain on his shoulder.

Collapsing down on the bed with a thud, Damian started going through his medical supplies he had, pulling out an instant cold pack and pressure bandages. After crushing the cool pack and placing it on his shoulder he began to rap his chest with the bandages to keep it in place but found the task tricky, struggling with a bad shoulder and limited movement of the chest he quickly became argue at the task at hand and pegged the cool pack at the wall in his rage but settling down quickly when the pain started again.

Falling fully onto his bed, Damian clenched his shoulder in pain until he heard a soft knock at his door followed by the soft voice of Raven "Damian.... Can I come in?" Damian sighed and didn't answer as Raven entered his room slowly. Damian didn't move as he just laid there trying to get a hold of himself as to not show weakness. Raven looked around the room and found a cool pack laying by the door, she bent down, picking it up in her hand and walking it over to Damian who's still hadn't moved. "are you ok?" Raven asked, sitting down on the edge of Damian's bed with the cool pack still in hand.

"I'm fine" Damian replied quickly with a stern tone. Trying to hold back the pain of his ribs tormenting him he sat up and began to stand. Raven blushed at the sight of Damian shirtless but hid it, turning her head to the side so her hair would cover her face. Damian made his way over to his dresser where he retrieved the top part of his uniform, cringing in pain while putting it.

"Do you nee.." Raven began to ask but was cut off "no I'm fine" Damian put bluntly, putting his utility belt around his waist and clipping It together at the front "where are you going?" Raven asked concerned that Damian may try and leave. "patrol" he put simply as he began to leave. Raven knows she couldn't let Damian leave the tower alone, especially not after everything that's gone one lately. "I'm coming with you then" Raven announced, getting up and walking over to Damian who had raised a questioning eyebrow "and besides I could use some fresh air" she finished looking quit made up about her decision.

Thinking about it for a second, Damian just shrugged, turning back to Raven. He knew he shouldn't be going anywhere with his injuries, but he also knew he needed to get out of this godforsaken place and if Raven wanted to tag alone who was he to stop her.

Raven waved her hand as a black portal appeared in front of them, stepping through they appeared on the roof to of Jumps city's highest builder. The wind blow in the night's air as the ambient sound of cars and pedestrians could be heard. The glow of street lights littering the city lit the streets as the moon hid behind dark clouds. Damian approached the edge of the skyscraper, crouching down and surveying the streets below. Raven stood behind him with her eyes shut, letting the cool night air chill her nostrils and she took a deep breath sighing a sigh of relief to be outside.

"we've got a 452 in progress on east avenue Delaware, units respond...." Said an officer over the police broadcast channel Damian had taped into using his Bat Nave "let's go... "Damian began as he got up but fellow over from the rush of pain hitting him like a bulldozer. Raven quickly went to help him but stopped when Damian put a hand up to stop her, getting up on his own stumbling a little. Raven grabbed Damian by the arm to help him get sturdy on his feet "you really need to go to a hospital, Damian, you're not I any position to be helping people if you can't even help yourself" Raven insisted as Damian stood looking over the city skyline and then back to her "fine.... but I'm not going to any hospital" he said watching as Raven sighed shaking her head with a small smile on her lips.

Once they got back to Damian's room Raven told Damian to take his shirt off again and sit down at the foot of his bed. At first he was a bit unsure but soon relaxed as Raven took a seat next to him and began examining his rib's "they look pretty bad" Raven began, poking and prodding the large bruised area "I've had worse" Damian returned make Raven roll her eye's as she continued up to his shoulder "alright, I can heal your rib's but It will take about 10 min" she said still examining the area, trying to keep her eye's from wondering the rest of his chest. "last time you were able to heal me in just a few seconds! Why so long now?" Damian quested confused "last time your injuries were life-threatening and had to be healed quickly which made me drain all my energy at once!" she answers, rubbing her hands together to put warmth into them before placing both onto the bruised area as a purple aura started healing the area.

Raven and Damian both blushed at the contact but didn't do anything an just sat in silence until Damian broke the silence with a barely audible whisper "th...thanks" If Raven wasn't sitting right next to him she probably would have missed it. Damian wasn't big on thank yours or being nice but something about Raven made him feel emotions he hadn't felt before, it was tariffing and interesting at the same time, still not sure on how he wanted to deal with it.

Raven smiled at Damian, taking in all his features, not knowing why this boy of all boys she such deep feeling for, feelings she had only read about in lobe story of the past. Damian soon caught her staring at him and without thinking Raven lent in and kissed him, at first Damian was surprised at the action, not sure on what to do since he had never kissed a girl in his life Damian just sat there. Raven on the other hand had closed her eyes for the kiss, allowing all her knowledge on kissing though books to guild her. Eventually, she pulled back after five seconds, opening her eyes to a dumfound Damian staring at her with a blank face and a crimson blush creeping up his cheeks. Raven blushed hard to, trying to think of something to say but couldn't find the words.

Finally, after what seemed like hour's Raven stood "s...sorry" she apologized and sped out the room leaving a shocked Damian sitting in a puddle of confusion. Once returning to her room, Raven fell onto her bed hiding her face in between pillows and letting out a large sigh "what the hell was THAT?" she asked herself feeling like a complete idiot. Raven didn't sleep that night, pondering what would happen tomorrow, what Damian would say to her, whether he felt the same. She tried reading his emotion's, but Damian is locked down tighter then Batman's Kryptonite supply after what happened the first day he arrived over a year ago, she hoped he felt the same way, she truly did.
