Groaning, I got up from bed and walked down stairs, While scratching my eyes, I yawned and stood in front of the mirror, dry tears we're visible from last night.

flashback*

I was sitting on my couch, watching TV when all of a sudden, flash news came and showed a picture of the man who had murdered (y/n). He was found dead at an alleyway, fifteen stabs on his chest and one at the center of his head.

My eyes widened as the memory of (y/n) got killed while being robbed on her house, two months ago.

I couldn't take it anymore and turned the TV off, not interested on whatever happened to that man, the only thing that mattered is that he murdered (y/n).

End of flashback*

I turned the faucet on and sighed, washing my face, I glanced over and started making coffee, while waiting for the coffee, I jogged outside to my front lawn and opened my mailbox, there sit an envelope, I picked it up and jogged my way back inside the house,

Grabbing the now ready coffee, I sat on the chair and took a small sip, I glanced over the envelope and started opening it, my heart started beating fast and held the envelope, opening it,

Inside was a letter written by my dearest friend who went missing since (y/n)'s accident. Holding my breath, I began to read,

' Dear Luke,
Please forgive me for I was not there on (y/n)'s funeral. Please tell (y/n) that I'm sorry for not being there... I was engulfed by anger and determination to hunt down her murderer.

I wasn't there because I was arrested for killing her murderer on the day of her funeral. I showed that bastard a taste of his own medicine. I got Justice for her Luke, I got the justice she deserves..

She deserves more than anything Luke, I was gonna ask her to marry me on that day.. I'm so sorry, but I don't regret it. I don't regret killing that bastard. I had to do it.
