Me and Luke had just finished the movie and now walking outside the theater room hand in hand. Both of us smiled as we walked down the lit up streets.

"I think I'm ready..." He spoke, stopping over at the center of the park, I then looked at him with a bit of confusion. Luke then started kneeling down his one knee in front of me, taking my hand and kissing it, he charmingly smiled.

I stared at him, quite surprised as a tear run down my cheek, "L-luke..." Luke breathed, caressing the back of my hand then stared back up at me, "(y/n)... We have been dating for so long and I just wanted to say is .." my heart pounded inside my rib cage as he popped the one heavy question.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

I peeked around the corner, seeing my best friend, Luke, drop down on his one knee. He glance a quick look for me in which I returned with a sad smile, he smiled then stared back up at the girl he had been in love with.

He then repeated the exact things he practiced. Caressing the back of her hand and deeply staring back up at her. I clenched into my clothes, this is what I want .. I told myself, I wanted Luke to be happy, even though it meant breaking my own heart to practice-date him. I still agreed.

Anything to keep him happy, I sighed as I heard the loud Yes of the girl he loved. Her gorgeous looks, her smile .. they were so much more extra than mine. You did it (y/n), you kept him happy...
