that part with the ultimate betrayal

November 4, 2012Derek and Sommer were waiting impatiently in Stiles' room; the brunette girl laying on his bed comfortably as she looked up at the All Time Low posters she silently applauded him for.
She had a bad feeling about today.
Sure, she knew she'd practically broken in to the Sheriff's home with her fugitive brother, waiting for his son.
But somehow, she knew it was something completely different than this.
She watched Derek's face tense a bit as he heard a noise, the brunette more than a little frustrated that her hearing was completely back to a mundane human's by now.
She couldn't smell the person, either; but she figured it was Stiles, because Derek wasn't too worried about the intrusion.
As the bedroom door opened, in walked the buzzcut teen who threw his backpack on his bed (onto Sommer) before noticing the siblings, just as the Sheriff called for his son.
"Yo da-Derek?!"
Derek glared and put his finger to his lips to shush him as Sommer waved and pointed to the door with a brow raised.
Said young boy bolted to his door, shutting himself in it so his dad didn't see the fugitive behind it, or the very pretty girl relaxing on his bed.
There Sheriff frowned in confusion, "What'd you just say?"
Stiles eyes widened, mouth becoming dry as he came up with a quick excuse. "I said 'Yo dad'..."
The Sheriff ignored his son's more-than-usual odd behavior before speaking up about Stiles' upcoming game tonight.
Sommer heard his father swell with pride as he spoke, "I just wanna say I'm proud of you."
She almost forgot the awkward boy finally made first line- only because someone named Greenberg gave half the team pink eye.
"I-I am too! I-I'm proud of myself.."
The siblings gave each other a look, Derek wondering if this kid was serious while Sommer just shook her head.
Yup. He is, unfortunately...
"Oh! Huggie, huggie..." The boy muttered awkwardly as they hugged, his father giving him a strange look before they parted ways, Stiles all but slamming the bedroom door.
