Sommer's migraine still hadn't calmed down as she laid in bed tiredly, reading her book again.

Derek was downstairs working out, keeping his ears open just in case something went wrong with his sister.

He was worried, to say the least..

He could smell something off about her the last few days; there was something different about her power.

He'd never smelt he so weak before.
Not even after the fire.

What was this town doing to her?

He heard her move upstairs as he dropped down to the ground for push ups, her feet moving toward the room across from hers.

Cora's room.

Derek's motions paused as he listened in.

Sommer hesitantly opened the door that held on by its last hinges, the black walls covered in soot used to be covered in purple paint and lion king decals Sommer had hand painted for her.

She hadn't been in here since before the fire- the girl refusing to go inside due to the painful emotions surrounding it.

But as the girl's feet led her inside fully, she didn't feel the physical pain she thought she would feel.

Most of it was emotional.
The last memory in this room hitting her like a ton of bricks.

"Sommer! Does this look good? Mrs. Meyers wants me to to draw Tinkerbell, but I don't think it's good." Cora's little voice flower trough the air as Sommer laid on the floor of the 11 year old's room going over her art homework.

Her blue eyes raised to meet with the construction paper Cora held in her hands, eyes skimming over it.
